The cast of Kimetsu no Yaiba's anime has already recorded the first four episodes and a trailer should be coming soon.

They changed some things around in the first episode of HZ, but it ultimately left a good impression on me. OP and ED are both great too. Mainly hoping that the anime brings in a lot of new fans because the manga is too good to miss out on for people who like sports series.

I doubt they announce something over there, it's more like a voice actors and singers event.

Wow looks like Viz is finally adding a new series to Jump! Can't wait for this to end as soon as they catch up!

>There is a serious lack of pages since RxL ended
>Let's ignore Jujutsu
>Well, RWBY will fill the gap

I'm mad.

I love The Comiq MC design. Feels is going to be a ''light Bakuman'', with some west touch. A pity is confirmed to be a short series.

Honestly I don't have issue with Viz doing this. I doubt the magazine is profitable at all. For $25.99 a year we get 7 weekly series, 4 monthly series, 1 irregular series, HxH and World Trigger sometimes, one-shots every once in a while. Not to mention the whole free section is counted under the brand. Just look at Kodansha and Yen Press chagrining anywhere from 0.99 to $1.99 for chapters (that's more than Viz charges for an issue with everything I just listed). I can absolutely see Viz wanting to attract more people to the magazine. I know they get some via the Yu-gi-oh cards that don't read the magazine but I still wouldn't be surprised if Viz is losing money on this magazine.

So Re:Zero, Overlord, Tanya The Evil, and Konosuba, are getting a crossover series....

Where is our Jump Film Shueisha?

RWBY is an American based series.

I would imagine they have some type of Partnership with Rooster Teeth behind the scenes where Rooster Teeth is paying them to run RWBY. I can't 100% confirm this, but seems very realistic

I can't find anything about this series or the author "Bunta Kinami". The last manga ran in Ultra Jump though so if this one is also in a Jump magazine technically it fits Viz's style of putting other magazine's titles in WSJ.

I know its only been a day, but on Realtime Bunkyodo only Sumou volume 22 is up. None of the previous volumes are up yet. This might change tomorrow but usually the first episode is enough to see a start in the volumes coming up. Slime also only has 1 episode out and yet its got almost all volumes coming up into the realtime top 50. POS will tell us whether they came up of not but so far.......

They're avoiding two very promising new series that are actually from WSJ to force this garbage on us again? The previous RWBY manga was genuinely the worst thing they've ever ran in the magazine.

Is it confirmed for the main magazine or just the free section? They just say Shonen Jump for RWBY but specify Weekly Shounen Jump for the new Takahashi series, so ideally RWBY would the free section and not wasting space in the main magazine again. Why can't they just do the normal thing and stick to releasing the volumes, and don't give special attention to this series that has nothing to do with wsj whatsoever?

Oh wow, a blonde MC in a series that's seemingly inspired from American comics? I'm so impressed at the MC design and creativity!

The HZ episode was better than I expected but I would imagine they made the first episode look extra pretty since it was suppose to get a screening. My fav part was this scene and I hope we get this rough style of animation more in the anime

Overall I enjoyed episode 1, it has some nice soundtrack too. The OP does cover a lot of material lol so it's obvious to see a lot of cut content. I wonder, do we assume that they work with Kawada on what to cut out or his editor? I know for anime series like Ushio to Tora, I remember reading that they worked with the mangaka on what to content they can cut out.

I'll be honest, if I hadn't read the manga this episode would have me on the fence about continuing. It doesn't have the heat the first chapter has. Everything just happens without any buildup. A lot of it was stills as well and the Storyboard and layouts were quite average. They stuck to the manga really close without adding any thing else. That one scene was well done but the music could have accentuated it even more. Not having anything sound then was probably meant to increase the surprise factor but its possible that good music placement could have done the same. The OPED songs were great but again, its a lot of stills. I'm hopeful though that they'll be able to get the heat, the most important factor in this series, as they continue down.

The Zumou episode was better than I expected, could of been even better (seriously why couldn’t it got a better studio) but was for the most part enjoyable. Like iceemperor said the build up wasn’t there like in the manga.

The true silver lining here is that it seems newcomers are getting an overal good first impression from the anime, hopefully word of mouth can hook more people to the series

Luffy vs Katakuri keeps getting better and this week's OP episode was phenomenal. I highly recommend any OP manga reader to check it out. It really makes me more hyped for Jump festa.
