I sincerely expected a manga more Bakuman-like style with plenty of jokes and references about the manga industry, but I think the same as you, it was really interesting! The drawing and the setting made me feel like I was reading an '80s manga.

Domestically WT's manga is probably slightly ahead but if you count worldwide sales BC should be bigger right now. Just in France, BC's manga sold 170k copies in 2017 when the anime had just began. MHA in comparison was the 4th best selling manga that year and sold 480k copies.

I know it's hard to admit for WT fans but it's not bigger than BC, especially if you count the anime which had a bigger presence worldwide in comparison.

Na, I get that. I have seen BC in german book stores, and the screaming was just as annoying in german as it was in english, but I have yet to see a single WT volume in german translation in a book store to buy for my collection.
