So we are ignoring this CP where a lot of the important female characters to the overall plot are present and 3 of the 7 look identical to each other with another 2 just having different hair? Okay.Erm, the last chapter had a chubby middle-aged kunoichi with pigtails.
Eh? No.Also, funny that you didn`t mention Big Mom, probably one of the most unique designs for a female in Jump, especially a villain.
Also, I want cake now.
Don't get me wrong. Oda is fantastic, both as a storyteller and an artist. But it's a widely acknowledged fact that he cannot draw girls that don't look the same.
A lot of mangaka have issues with designs being similar. Kubo draws men's face structures similarly. You are able to easily differentiate them cause of their hair and other accessories. And they hardly ever change their look.
Oda's problem is that his female leads always change outfits and looks(accessories) and therefore, it starts getting hard to actually differentiate them. Its great for the story (the change of outfit), but makes his lack of female variety stand out in plain sight.
