Not liking the design
I wouldn't expect Promised Neverland, I'm guessing that's going to have a "final arc" that lasts at least a year or two.You know what that means? Axe time! Been a very long time since we’ve seen something over 100 chapters canned. Honestly though, shouldn’t be an issue. We have an open slot for One Shots right now, and two of the latest round probably won’t stick. Maybe David won’t either too? Hinomaru, Yuuna and Soma all seem to be approaching their conclusions. Neverland too. All of them might even be gone within the year.
I can see Soma getting told to wrap up in the next 3 months, possibly Yuuna too although there is one more plotline i want to see before it concludes (the oni story). You know what that means? Looks like BNP do wanna see Gintama through to the end. Also it seems there are some manga spoilers because I don't remember those last couple of scenes being in the manga.

Posted yesterdayKimetsu and Dr. Stone get novels in February 2019

Didn't see that thanks lol
Nothing special, the manga will join the roster of the mobile game 暴走列伝 単車の虎 (iPhone/android), the author had a few autograph session during the exhibition. No circulation update neither, they just told us again it has 60,000,000 in print. One question, is there any news about the Rokudenashi Blues 30th anniversary celebration?
The Act-Age sales aren't low. It's slowly growing and getting a lot of reprints. And yes, these are good sales for the present manga industry, don't rely on the averages from WSJ from years ago since things are changing. It's very difficult for new manga to take off at all and sell nowadays(even in WSJ). Print sales are overall going down in the entire industry and the digital sales don't seem to be helping the new series much.So we get a samurai manga, huh? I guess it will be included in the next batch (probably around March).
Analyzing the current state right now:
-One Piece, The Promised Neverland, My Hero Academia, Kimetsu No Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, We Never Learn, Dr. Stone, Black Clover, Haikyuu, Jimoto ga Japan, they either have strong (or -ish) sales, or they have upcoming animes (safe)
-Act-Age, while it is not setting world on fire with its sales at all, it seems it is liked by the readers with high rankings, the recent volume sales were the highest even if still low, obviously WSJ is trying to make it a breakout (safe)
-Hinomaru Zumou, it is dropping slowly in rankings, anime so far flopped not helping the struggling sales at all (currently the WSJ non newbie manga that is the worst in sales department), but I highly doubt WSJ will end the manga before anime ends. (safe for this axe round around March, but possibly in danger after that)
-Hunter X Hunter on hiatus (safe)
-Shokugeki no Souma, while this one is going off rails in every segment now by losing the anime (at least for now) and is more and more in the bottom of TOC, still has good enough sales which is what will give it more time (safe for now, will end in 2019 but probably not in the spring axe season)
That leaves us:
-Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san (declining sales that are not on the Souma level to at least make it safe in that regard and rankings have been bad ever since Tanaka Seiji and Alice to Taiyo got cancelled, while anime did not help sales at all and not coming back for another season). I could see this one moving to Shonen Jump+ maybe?
-Shishunki Renaissance! David-kun (likely depending on the volume sales in January)
-Newbies (Chainsawman, ne0lation and Gokutei Higuma).
I am confused here regarding Act Age since I was using Oricon numbers here (sold about 38k copies for Volume 4 which does put it a bit higher than Zumou, but is almost doubled by the next placed manga, Yuuna? Isnt Souma acting like Bleach 2.0 now (good sales, bad rankings)? I could only see Souma ending if 3 of David-Ne0-Chain-Higuma do well which is very unlikely, but otherwise? Probably not, since I dont see the need for a big serialization round here. Again I see Yuuna going before Souma, so the point is still moot. Probably it and Zumou will end in mid 2019 (aka in 2 rounds)The Act-Age sales aren't low. It's slowly growing and getting a lot of reprints. The book-rank.net estimates for Act-Age so far:
Vol. 1: 86,266
Vol. 2: 82,157
Vol. 3: 77,839
Vol. 4: 67,472
Shokugeki no Souma isn't safe. The reception for it seems to be at its lowest ever and the sales won't save it if the Japanese readers hate it.
And about Kishimoto's new series. Having someone else draw it seems like the only solution to make the series weekly, so I guess that was a smart decision from Shueisha. I'm personally not looking forward to it at all.

Wasn't it said that Kimetsu is in its final arc? And the latest chapter was literally called "The Final Battle Begins!". Now, Kimetsu is still on my backlog list for stuff past the first volume, so I dunno about the current narrative standpoint, but couldn't the series currently steer towards its natural conclusion and just end around Spring? Not axed, but simply be finished.-One Piece, The Promised Neverland, My Hero Academia, Kimetsu No Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, We Never Learn, Dr. Stone, Black Clover, Haikyuu, Jimoto ga Japan, they either have strong (or -ish) sales, or they have upcoming animes (safe)
They could extend the final arc maybe (like lots of WSJ manga before)? I just do not see it ending this early and before anime does to be honest (because they will surely want to ride on the anime buzz if it works for the sales). Wouldnt be that surprised since I heard about the final battle as well, but feels so weird to have a successful manga end this early in Jump.Wasn't it said that Kimetsu is in its final arc?
