I... really don't like the OP of Nverland.

I think that they took a song of a battle shounen, and made a "battle shounen" opening, for a show without battles.
Like, the "Sakuga" of the children doing parkour.
It should've been more atmospheric, with a focus on the "game of tag" between Izabella and the children, something dramatic and dark, like Death Note's

The series has been a battle manga since the escape. How was Goldy Pond not a battle shonen arc? Or the most recent? Current one as well shows battles will only increase.

Cygames is literally everywhere now, Nintendo own 5% of them, They had a partnership with Kodansha and Shuiesha, they are also sponsors of Italian football team Juventus. Launched last year their music brand might be rival a big names like Aniplex in anime songs.
I just hope they won't develop any video game for Neverland, they are awful at making them...
Naughty Dog should develop Neverland video game andin The Last of Us style, but that's a dream that will never come true.

The technical term is they have 5% controlling stake, 5% control doesnt give them any meaningful role in cygames decision making process, so saying they own 5% of the company is deceptive, unclear, and not actually what owning stock actually means. See

I don’t know why this would be criteria for it to have sales that big, but there are plenty characters ppl could ship if they wanted

Neither did Assassination Classroom but we all know how big AC became. If your story captivates people, you get the recognition you deserve.

promised neverland is at 1224 pixiv arts, so the anime is really its last chance to try to capture shippers hearts, <10 arts have been added since the episode debuted, so...its not looking likely that its popularity is going to be driven by shippers who are engaged on pixiv.

How they are awful making video games? lol I mean, even looking at their main business which is mobile, they have one of the best titles out there in many mobile games.

But as far as console games, Granblue Fantasy Re:Link and Project Awakening still aren't out and those are titles by Cygames Osaka and published by them. The others they made were for other publishers.
