A good thing for you, not for me since i'm a fan, and Pierrot doesn't need to cancel things to make a movie, Naruto and Bleach were being produced at the same time and popping up movies together many times not to mention other animes being produced too.

Toei has One Piece, Precure, Kitaro, Oshiri Tantei and the rumoured sequel to DBS being produced at the same time and they just have Stampede to be released soon, a new DB movie in very early stages, a new Digimon movie announced and 2 Sailor Moon movies announced too, it's just a matter of Shueisha or Pierrot wanting to make a BC movie

Do you really think that the only anime they produce today it's Boruto and Black Clover? go to the MAL page about Pierrot and you will see that only in the last two years since Boruto and Black Clover started they produced:

Honestly, thinking about it more, I would just wait for GFC to be over, cancel these newbies and go full 6-newbies round (in case Hinomaru ends, and Tokyo also bombs). I think Shueisha needs to be more aggresive to find replacements for veterans leaving (Yuuna and Hinomaru will surely end this year, with Souma having left). Chainsaw Man (and likely Samurai 8) will just replace the spots left by Gintama and World Trigger by the end of 2018.

Last saiyuki is an disaster

I expect Saiyuki to be a major disaster in sales (ne0lation like) as well, which is a shame.

4+ rounds are pretty rare, aren't they? I think they only do it for special occasions, like the start of a new era for this one. I think the previous batch with 4 or more was the 6 one with Dr. Stone and WNL.

Funnily enough, for me and the people I talk to, it's the other way around. Canon material outside the manga usually complicates and muddies things, and most of the time the quality doesn't live up to the source material.

Toei also have a Precure movie at the end of the year. Every year they have a new Precure, a crossover movie in the beginning of the year and a movie for the current precure at the end. So they actually have more than that.

Seriously, it's about time for a Black Clover movie to be announced, the anime is popular, it's entering the 3rd year and doesn't look like it's stopping anytime soon, i do get the "staff" concerns but can't Pierrot just hire more animators and make a team to focused on the movie and the others in the anime? (i'm no expert about anime production...)

They could but most of their connections are busy and they have three long running shows airing at the same time. It'll happen in time but before that happens, I believe Boruto will get a movie first.

SW1 was a more bizarre situation than Hinomaru.
The series sold practically nothing and didn't grow its entire run yet stuck around for a year and a half.
Pretty sure it became a wacky battle shonen by the end. Shame it never got scanned.

when the focus is on Narumi kai it feels like Bungou Stray Dogs
when the story follow En it feels like Kekkai Sensen

I like both series so let's see where this goes
