Feel like they need to add 1 or 2 more slots in the magazine for more series, as we’ve been having a lot of successes lately
Huh? They have at least 3 (4 if Chainsawman included) newbies in danger in Ne0, David and Higuma (Jimoto ga Japan is technically safe and Chainsawman is unlikely to bomb if this hype for it is telling), with Yuuna, Souma and Hinomaru as veteran underperformers that are the bottom 3 in rankings that is not Japan or David rotating (Yuuna-anime flopped, mediocte sales are dropping, Souma sales are still strong compared to the others but dropping and the reception is horrible, and Zumou- anime flopped, sales are absolutely awful).

They are still far, far away from being in a position to expand in my opinion.

WSS: Kotoyama, who is basically unemployed rn, while Sunday's eic is too busy masturbating himself to sleep over Daiku why not go for it?
WSM: Ooima once Fumetsu no Anata e ends

Idk, personally I feel like One Piece should be like a free space on a bingo board. Like, have that series be in the magazine, but don’t consider it as taking up one of the “spots”
One Piece is literally impossible to compete with, and there’s virtually no chance of it ending prematurely unless Oda gets seriously ill or worse.

And I’m going on a limb and will assume that Samurai 8 is already being considered a success to Shueisha/Jump Eidtorial Department. Would let be shocked if the series already has an anime in production.
So if that’s the case I think it should be considered a “free spot” as well.

Also feel that way about HxH as well, as usually something gets axed before HxH returns, and a new series usually enters when HxH leaves. Just make it a free spot

Finally got to read ne0 and Higuma, after thinkng about I’ll Say that Higuma is my favorite of the new bunch, with Chainsaw Man as a very close second. Sure it May be another exorcist manga that might as well flop later on but it was the One that has got me the most hooked, particularly liked how the first chapters felt very consequential to each other instead of going the standard monster of the week and also a proper explanation of the setting and the power set without being the “in your face” type of dump exposition.

Chainsaw man is also fun to read, tho I feel its a bit all over the place but I enjoy it nonetheless. Would be happy with having either of these two making it.

Then they still would need to increase the price of the magazine since I doubt Jump is able to print 3 extra series for no higher price.

Japan adaptation is a long runner anime by toei, takes the (Toriko, World Trigger, DBS) timeslot

Japan dabs on David then goes on to cuck DBS obnoxious fandom

I mean they have extra space fo Boruto 1 week out of the month, as well as One Shots, and othe stuff. Plus I remember that one random week where Haikyuu had a 30+ paged chapter a few weeks ago. I can’t imagine they’d have to significantly increase the price if at all

Three additional creators to pay for their work as well, innit. That feels the more significant cost

Boruto was riding on Naruto's popularity. It was destined to sell a certain number of copies of volumes meaning WSJ would've calculated that having Boruto appear in some issues would be a cost they can eat. However, having a new series that constantly requires the magazine to print out more pages with no actual proof of any of that investment leading to more profit is too much of a risk especially when physical print sales numbers of the magazine are already decreasing each year.
One shots are another exception because it helps them also understand what sort of manga the readers might or might not be looking for.

I wonder how long Bort's planned to last anyway, if it's got a set idea in mind or if it's just however long it feels like.

I understand that paying creators cost, but Shueisha is nearly a half a billion dollar company.
Maybe adding 10 spots is a risk
But adding 2 more spots to the magazine is hardly risky, and likely won’t set them back at all

Kotoyama just had a one-shot published in Sunday last week, and they announced at the end of that that Kotoyama is already preparing another series for Sunday currently, so, no, Kotoyama is not just free for Jump to snatch.

Still want my JUMP Avengers-style crossover film where the characters of Naruto, Dragon Ball, Bleach, One Piece, and MHA team up

with a post credits scene where The Jump Pirate shows up at Yusuke Urameshi’s house to recruit him too

My wishist are:

- a real iconic ecchi manga that will match the golden years of To Love Ru and Ichigo 100%. Yuuna didnt really qualify
- a succesful manga without animation. Im tired of seasonal anime that don't have a 2nd season or at least a better conclusion
- a MC on it's 20's or 30's. Or maybe older.
- New mangaka that will beat Kishi's new manga both in sales and TOC (doubt it)
- Sunday and Magazine reducing the profit gap to Jump for a better competition between the three major shonen magazines
- Jump Force having (100k+ sales) in Japan
- Kubo finally letting go of Bleach and make a new manga
