What is the ToC ranking?
ToC stands for Table of Contents. It's found on the last page of every issue of WSJ, but more importantly, the order the series appear in on the ToC is closely related to the popularity of the series. This is determined by polling the readers; there is a polling postcard in every issue of WSJ.

Each week, a certain guy from 2ch writes out TOC for the following week's Jump. TOC order is usually based on polling result of readers, thus you will know how your favorite series are doing based on the order.

Some exceptions etc:
- For the 2nd-8th chapters, TOC is already decided, though it could change depends on readers' ranking.
- The TOC is affected by the popularity of 8 chapter ago.
- Shueisha's aiming their main target as elementary and junior high school students, thus, their votes weigh probably more than others (fangirls).

What would you like to see from WSJ in 2019? What are your expectations for 2019?

-I want to see at least one rookie/new author take off and find success in the magazine.
-I want an anime adaptation getting announced for Jujutsu Kaisen, bonus points if it gets a good adaptation(please though).
-I want to see Act-Age and Jujutsu to continue growing in popularity.
-I want to see at least two new manga survive the whole year and move on to 2020.
-I hope Chainsaw Man will become a hit.
-Hopefully Kimetsu, Neverland and Dr. Stone all get great boosts from their anime adaptations.
-Hopefully all the mangaka stay strong and healthy! Good luck to them!
-Jimoto ga Japan becomes the hit gag comedy manga we've all been waiting for.
-Gintama actually ends for real.
-Maybe an anime remake for an older series(Slam Dunk please?)

I'd like Shun Numa to make a comeback, Chainsaw Man and/or Hell Warden Higuma to last a bit, Dr. Stone to gain a bit in sales and popularity, and some new Sports manga.

It would be nice if Higuma stayed. I wonder if the fan reception will be strong enough for it.

2019 Jump Wishlist and Predictions:

- Kishimoto manga is the big new sensation that takes over the magazine
-new MHA film announced
-Jujutsu Kaisen anime announcement around summer or fall
-Something unexpected ends
-Some Jump Classic either gets a new series announced(remake) or a movie announced.
-One Piece World Seeker flops
-Dragon Ball live action reboot is announced
-One Punch Man season 2 is a disaster
-Takamasa Moue and Yuusuke Utsumi return to the magazine(Galaxy Gangs!!!)
-Galaxy Gangs becomes a One Piece killer
-Jimoto Ga Japan SOMEHOW becomes huge
-JoJo Part 8 ends and Part 9 starts
-An American Comic Artist(or writer) collab with Jump for a series
-Dr.Stone anime does rather well
-Something from Jump+ becomes a moderate success
-Hunter X Hunter OVA
-MHA regains it momentum and begins a arc that everyone gets behind
-Black Clover somehow gets a second wind and sees unexpected growth

Wish list for 2019 :

-Neverland becomes a 1M seller
-Kimetsu and Dr. Stone's animes succeed and are green lit for continuation, both mangas more than double in sales
-Kishimoto's new manga becomes an amazing success and a new pillar
-2 older series end naturally, either Soma, Yuuragi or zumo
-Yuusaku Shibata and Iwashiro return and finally finding successes ending in anime(Forever salty about Psyren, especially now when lesser selling series getting their anime announced before 100 chapters)
-MHA and Black clover entering a new arc, both arcs having a great reception
-Jojo S6 anime announced for Spring 2020 right after S5 ends
-In the end of the year, Slam dunk is announced as a complete reboot for the 30 years celebration and the olympics in 2020
-Captain Tsubasa is also announced for a new season
-We get 20 chapters of HxH
-One manga of the current batch survives the entire year
-The bickering between MHA and Black clover fans is stopped and we have a digital sales oricon
-One piece continue being awesome
-Kenshin NOT getting aa complete reboot for celebrating 25 years to it's publication...but getting one in 2021 for 25 years to the beginning of the anime

-Hopefully in all countries not named Japan, people starts noticing One Piece exists and stops being Dragon Balltards
-Rokudenashi Blues surprising anime announcement (nah, not happening)
-Some Otoko Ippiki Gaki Daisho stuff happening
-Kinnikuman, City Hunter, or Hokuto no Ken getting anime readaptation announcement.
-Hokuto no Ken fanbase resurrects and Hokuto no Ken finally gets the constant love Yu Yu Hakusho or Jojo get everyday.
-Kurumada finally starts publishing Saint Seiya Heaven Arc.
-Boruto manga or/and anime finally dies.
-Someone finally subs Play Ball 2006 anime

2019 predictions:
-Next Jump Festa will bring Jujutsu Kaisen anime announcement (still not anime for Act-age though)
-We are getting anime announcement of Yu Yu Hakusho anime readaptation, Slam Dunk readaptation, or both of them (I see both of them happening)
-Bleach still gets nothing.
-Jujutsu Kaisen will win more relevance
-Chainsawman will consolidate as one of the main Jump titles, with possible stand in next Jump Festa.
-Samurai 8 will be a success
-Ne0;lation getting the axe. Higuma surviving for the moment but with discretion.
-One or two old authors coming back (I see them being Shimabukuro and Akano with Hot serialization)
-Next succesful spokon happening (aka Hot)
-Shokugeki finally dies/ends/get axed.
-Same for Yuuna.
-Promised Neverland ends at end of year. Kimetsu gets like only 10-20 chapters left to end in 2019.
-Black Clover gets more love by fans, sales skyrocket, and it ends the year finally in Oricon Top-10.
-Hero Academia comes back to at least 15 pages per chapter and next arc gets very succesful.
-David survives.

New year, new thread, I'll get around finishing the 2018 Jump series sales in depth look eventually.

Wishlist:

Neverland becomes as good as it was during the first arc.
Horikoshi gets better and we get 17-19 page chapters again
MHA gets back into advancing the plot, with no long SOL arcs and/or arcs that seemingly don't advance the plot for most of their length (like gentle fight/current arc), average sales keep on increasing.
Hunter X Hunter gets 20 chapters again
Wano country is shorter than WCI/Dressrosa and/or advances the main plot more than these two arcs.
Kimetsu's adaptation is good and gets two cours, average sales go up to 500k per volume
WT (technically not WSJ tho) finally finishes the rank wars
Samurai 8's fights are interesting like Naruto's earlier fights.
