Does that mean he ended it on his own terms then? Cause it would be a strange move from Shueisha to end a series during anime production.
Yeh the story comes full circle and was intended to be short.

sounds like planning took longer than anticipated that there was just no way to find a way to drag the story out to better align it with the anime.

So far from the first day sales Haikyuu is back to beating MHA again. Obviously we have to wait till the end of the week to see whether this continues or not.

I don't recall Sumo ranking this high before, possible late game boost?
It did 12th for the 1st day of volume 22

and 19th for the 1st of volume 23

need to wait for more days & take into account the competition as well (since these are relative rankings)

Buy Moria
Isn't that kind of early for David? Especially since the chapters are shorter than the usual Jump series.

I think it have enough material for a new volume. it would just mean the next volume mght have a larger gap

also Japan is probably set to april to coincide with the anime

My Hero in May ?
It was mentioned a while back that heroaca 23 and act-age 6 are moved from april to may

edit: heroaca was in fact never slated for April this year

Not a huge fan of separating Ne0 and Higuma like this. It's a tough competition with Haikyuu, BC, Souma, Kimetsu, Stone, Yuuna, Jimoto around anime and We Never Learn to launch 2 newbie volumes, especially with March being light in WSJ releases.

I would argue that impulse buy could be more beneficial than having no competition, (which in my opinion shouldn't really matter if a series can stand on its own)

higher chances of picking up an extra book (for a buy so & so promo or whatever) or catching your eye when you are going to buy something else (happened to me all the time) since they are displayed roughly in the same area

Isn't it a bit too soon to release Chainsawman volume?
That is why my "surprise, surprise" was all about. Shockingly early for it.

Eh, that is a good point, but also ne0 and Higuma are both coming from new mangakas in a wild crowd, unlike Chainsaw Man where the mangaka has a fanbase from Fire Punch.

This is my first time hearing about Astra lost in space lmao. Didnt even knew it existed.
It's quite good and given how few space adventure mangas we good I'd say even very good. It is already finished though which is why I never expected it to get an anime.

Seems Act-Age is doing really well in Japan. I guess most of us wouldn't have expected that when the first chapter came out of it. Like it felt all Shoujo in a Shounen Magazine. Yet it might even get an anime if it keeps going this way.

Judging by Shoseki, Act Age being in between Yuuna and Dr Stone, it could possibly go for 50k+ first week if this keeps up. Also Oricon will have their sales for full 7 days this time too, so should be fun to watch.
