Act-Age growth is just unstoppable. It already managed to outsell the previous volume's first week!
Jujutsu Kaisen dissapointed to be honest. With all that push it had from Horikoshi and the lack of Jump competition and seems like it didn't help it much. Probably would have earned around the same or slightly better than the last volume if it were 7 days.

I expected MHA 23 to do more tbh, every other manga exceeded my expectations

At least it's just slightly down from 4 day sales of Vol 16, so I guess it's holding up OK?

Be dissapointed in horikoshi's lackluster writing and unexciting events that just cant maintain the buyer engagement levels as other series do.

Take solace in @101nemesis mumbo jumbo and multiply the number by 30% to get a rather unimpressive increase in sales when digital is included.

xD
Non. Don't multiply it with anything.
Use only actual numbers when available. Not a random general percentage.

Looking at MangaAniMY's graph, mha seems to have a trend of going down when the anime isn't airing and then up when it starts again.

So a lackluster performance with a delayed anime is not so unexpected. Season 4 will be the litmus test, whether it pushes it to new heights or confirms a downward tendency.

But there seems to be a wider trend of all the mighty falling. Didn't OP's last volume sell like 200K less than the previous one? AoT is losing steam too. And Haikiyuu's been declining slightly. It looks like only the newer, smaller series are growing (with the exception of TPN, and even that didn't grow as much as expected with the anime). Oh, and Kingdom, but that had the movie.

Stone's got the perfect chance to grow with the anime upcoming.

If that doesn't change much perhaps it'll be the next Zumou, not really growing but sticking around since it adds a bit of variety.

Yeah, everything was bound to fall.
OP has been falling for the past many years now. Remember when it's peak print was 4 million copies? I'm fairly certain that print number has come down now.
I'm curious, how has the new TPN volume done after the anime aired when compared to old ones? Anime News Network's charts seems to not go beyond March. So can't really compare.

The Last Saiyuki will be canceled and the superior series in Yui will survive
