Yeah, simply for the name recognition and promotion, it's basically confirmed to survive for a while, and will probably be able to do way better than
It feels like the series is at its climax. I know there's the diamond kingdom or how Tabata has stated he wants the series to last for very long but I just can't see how any of the next arc could live up to this one. The current villain is like an endgame boss.
I'm expecting the current villain either won't be defeated this arc, or the reveal that there are more demons at work in the diamond kingdom. I agree that any future arc probably won't live up to this one though, it set the bar pretty high.

Apparently, Higuma's getting an epilogue chapter in Jump+ in July. Kinda far off, but I hope this means it'll be a lengthy epilogue to properly wrap up everything. Not sure why it's getting special treatment, but I'm glad it happened, I hope more series get this in the future.

I assume Higuma got the special treatment because it was liked, but not well-liked, to quote Death of a Salesman.

Just read latest Chainsaw chapter, I never thought any of the author's "comedy" funny, but I also never saw a problem with the gore and unfiltered exposure presented, so my reaction in the end is that, I feel sad, poor Denji, he has had it horribly, no wonder why he is so good when acting like a devil, or being a "bonkers" devil hunter, he has been through some deep shit.

that was me and it's a joke...
Well that just raises a plethora of new questions.

Why is Japan still running? Why does it continue getting support when it's clear readers have in no way taken to it? Why on Earth did it of all things get an anime to promote it, before it was even known if it was worth investing in?

Practically the only conclusion I have is that all this is a desperate attempt to salvage Jump's stock of gag manga, which is basically on life support at this point, with Jaguar, Sket Dance, Beelzebub, Kochikame, Saiki K and Gintama all gone. It's basically a crapshoot as to if Jump can earn anything from comedies at this point, so Japan is most likely the last desperate attempt to revive the market.

To say that makes it seem like the jump is in a bad situation. but the truth is that there are many manga in the jump that are making success, and most have anime.
the only ones that sell poorly are hinomaru, david and jimoto, just do not put Dr stone because the anime has not yet debuted and it can still be a success.

I never said that? I said that what is struggling is Jump's gag manga, not the series which actually makes Shueisha money (AKA their battle manga). At the rate we're going at, we may very well not have a gag manga in the magazine period.

Wow, you much be really sensitive if you think that much puking is too gross for comedy.
I guess you don't consider this humour too.

or this for anime related

Also don't push your own personal subjective opinion on everyone else. Putting ''subjective'' and claiming your own personal opinion as fact are, in fact, reaching.
Puking can be a gag sure but again how is puking in someone's mouth a gag? I think she was blushing too and the way it was drawn it looked like a fetish of some sort than a gag.

She was blushing because she was drunk out of her mind and could barely string sentences together. Not to mention afterwards Denji spent the next page puking into the toilet out of disgust over what had happened.

A shame about Higuma. It wasn't anything revolutionary or groundbreaking, but I still thought it was pretty nice. At the very least, I'm glad it's getting an epilogue chapter. Act-Age is setting up a pretty intense-sounding arc, which I'm eagerly looking forward to. Sad that it seems like David-kun will end really soon. Yui Kamio, in my opinion, had its strongest chapter this week. I hope they go more in-depth about Yui and Nao's backstory and how she came about taking care of Yui. Plus, it was nice to see that Yui in Black is still capable of normal human emotions and thought processes.

Saiyuki was ok this week. The thing about it is that I'm interested in what's going to happen, but I have no idea when I'll actually get to see it happen. Each chapter seems to raise more questions without answering the original ones. Chainsaw-Man was also ok this week, but it definitely needed more Power. The interactions between Denji and Power are probably the only reason I look forward to each chapter. They have a great character dynamic together

29p for Gintama #702 chapter. #703 will be out 27/05. So logicaly serie should end with 704th or 705th chapter.
Logically it could have ended literally years ago. Still here though

Japan will not end now. The jump can be with just one gag manga, it was so in the time of saike kusuo, and also even selling less than david, Japan did not have a sales drop.
