Legit, the more I read about the TOC, the more I'm convinced that the majority of discussion surrounding it is little more than myths being thrown around as if they were true.

For those who have read both, how similar of a writing-style would you say Anedoki and Ichigo 100% are to each other? I just finished Anedoki, and it really fell flat for me in most aspects I usually judge things by. Most of the story was pretty dull, I wasn't really satisfied with the totally random reason they were staying at the MCs place (as well as how they wrapped that up abruptly), nor was I really won over by the artstyle. At least it had a mostly happy ending, but it many ways, it was almost as if nothing of any substance really happened during the whole series.

The first chapter of Magico seemed pretty promising, plus it has a pretty unique artstyle.

For what, exactly, the lack of new sport and gag manga and the influx of darker titles? Even if he's a scapegoat, I don't exactly get why he's even being used as one.

Also, Samurai 8 Vol 2 releasing the same day as Vol 1 is...interesting. I'll wait until we're at Chapter 15 to make a full judgement though.

Huh, Yui and Saiyuki's sales are a lot better than I thought. Not great, but not terrible either.

For reference how high did Jigokuraku and World End Harem get for first week volume 1? Also wasn't expecting Heart Gear that high. I couldn't even make it through chapter 1 I was so bored while Saiyuki I at least got 4 chapters.

Although better than I thought, Saiyuki's day 1 sales are still pretty low. If it can somehow not plummet like most over new series do in this position, maybe it could last another volume, but it seems pretty unlikely at this point. If Yui Kamio can stay at about this level though, I'd say it could be the next Hungry Marie where they let it exist near the bottom of the TOC for longer than most other new series. Spy x Family thankfully looks like it's doing well though!
