TOC comment from Taishi Tsutsui (WNL) (lol)
"My son, why do you keep crying when your father tries to comfort you, yet stop immediately when my female assistant does?"
Pretty sure this is going to be new material in upcoming chapters.

The only one I see surviving guarenteed is TSS, but I see no haste for now compared how cramped it was with the chainsawman batch
Despite the positive reception of the first chapter I don't see TSS surviving for so long the world is so hollow the powers are so cliche I mean the fights to this point were the guy throws electricity the other guy is a tiger and fights with kimimaro from naruto and chapters 4,5 and 6 nothing really happened, even in the comments in manga plus many people said that, I don't know who said that other the day but to me TSS is neolation with superpowers (it's so episodic) but with a design for the main character more appealing and ninjas, if the autor don't give the story a 360 degree I would say that could end in 12 chapters but this only is my opinion and I am one that don't want saiyuki to be cancelled then I can't talk for the general tastes

if the TSS succeeds, it is likely to be hated and criticized, as well as Black clover at the beginning (and still criticized).

Well, fairy tail was also like that in the beginning and even then the manga lasted and was successful, and kekkai sensen is also, this is what is more compared to TSS.
It does not know what the Japanese like, there are manga that we think we flop and when you see is a success.

Yes, but they were not published in Jump, which is a harsher magazine with more competition and less margin for errors.

I do not want to look like a blind fanboy defending TSS, but there is so much different from the basic shonen that is being published in the jump, that it is not enough for us to say that "if it was published on the jump it would not be successful", nowadays it is difficult to know what makes success in the jump.

There's rumors on 2ch hinting at Purple Haze Feedback OVA? Sounds too good to be true but that would be amazing.

Part 6 should come out next year given the pattern of past parts.

I doubt it

Lol it wont come close
First half 2019:

My Hero Academia - 3,148,345
Kimetsu no Yaiba - 1,577,295

Not to mention MHA has a huge gap over Kimetsu when comparing individual volumes

Next year OP will most likely drop only 3 volumes so who do you think has the best chance of taking the #1 spot in total sales away from OP?

Shoseki top 500 of July 7: http://shosekiranking.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-2709.html

Now it's looking better for Dr. Stone, all volumes appeared in the top 500, kinda strange to happen only after 2 days, but overall still a bit weak, vol 1 only at 166th.

Saigo no Saiyuki out of top 500 (ouch!) and Kamio Yui at 199th, it's actually holding better than expected.
