Who knows maybe the idea of a reboot has been proposed in the past but was rejected by Inoue. That's the only explanation I can think why it hasn't happened in these years

TOC may not come today from the usual Chinese Tieba Baidu leakers (there are no chapter spoilers either), but there is a chance Japanese ones will. Who knows? Even if it doesn't, not a big deal.

It's more likely I think that it means the climax of the fight and it'll still have a couple chapters of wrap-up afterwards (post-tournament cool down, the wedding, maybe a timeskip epilogue).

That would make sense but Hinomaru had a climax announced in the chapter with extra pages few issues ago.
