Glad SxF got such a good sale on its debut, nearly 40k in 4 days is really nice. Let's see how long it stays in the rankings before it drops out and with what kinda sales it gonna leave the ranking.
not higher than 50,000. Reprint doesn't come till the 18th.Glad SxF got such a good sale on its debut, nearly 40k in 4 days is really nice. Let's see how long it stays in the rankings before it drops out and with what kinda sales it gonna leave the ranking.
Battle manga was only an example, read the post properly. Jump usually only has 1-2 sport manga running. Even if Zumou leaves, there is sill Haikyuu. The romcom spot, ecchi spot, the unorthodox battle manga spot are also already taken. There are no gag series, and in a few weeks once Zumou ends there'll be only one non-new sport series in the magazine. There's definitely room for a couple new hits.
WSJ isn't a manga of only battle shounen, there are other genre mainstays too.
Not like I want to give that kind of rankings the importance they don't have, but yeah, for people to rate it high means it's having a good reception and that helps the series to grow a lot.I checked the top average rating ranking of manga series on MyAnimeList today and... SpyxFamily is currently in 30th place, on par with Death Note. That's amazing for a series that started so recently.
No. That won't happen either way.. because as far as I remember, no manga ever transferred from other magazines to WSJ, just the contrary.Cmon Nak you fraud get SxF to move into the main mag. This series was made to be weekly.
I say it's safe to say that only a matter on time before KnY to surpass MHA.
I'd argue that, at this point, "room" doesn't really matter. As long as it's good, readers will pay attention to it.Battle manga was only an example, read the post properly. Also i think the concept of the gag manga as it was used to be in the 80s,90s etc, is dead. Gintama's success imo relies on that it is modernizes the gag manga and is more of an action-comedy-drama series.
How is it safe to say that lol? You're comparing a MHA volume that released without an anime and saw a dip in sales vs a Kimetsu volume that released with an anime, also for all we know Kimetsu might not even have long legs like MHA volumes + there isnt a guarantee that the next Kimetsu volume grows like it did with this oneKimetsu no Yaiba Volume 16(4 days)-225,102
My Hero Academia Volume 16(4 Days)- 274,338
Wow. Kudos to KnY Only 50k shorter than MHA vol 16 and that's with only first season back up while MHA already have 2 seasons back up.
I say it's safe to say that only a matter on time before KnY to surpass MHA.
If the current arc is indeed the final arc, which it definitely feels like, I'd predict another 50 chapters maybe. How many more chapters do you guys think Kimetsu will go for?
100? 150?
I'm anime-only, so was curious.
Which means it might sell out before the 18th? Would be quite funny if it leaves the ranking with a perfect 50k sale before it gets its reprint. XDnot higher than 50,000. Reprint doesn't come till the 18th.
It will end at 200 chapters I bet.How many more chapters do you guys think Kimetsu will go for?

There's no way that it's the final act though. If the current arc is indeed the final arc, which it definitely feels like, I'd predict another 50 chapters maybe.
