Like Hina-chan or any Jump+ new series (or old ones) where they comment as if it's a Shonen Jump series even though the app lists them on the Jump+ section.

The comment sections are just really poor in general.

Which made me remind that here is one of the best places (if not the best) to talk about manga, the magazines, sales and the industry due to how much people know in general

I prefer to be in a place where people know more than me at the end of the day, as I can reach the level and also learn about what I don't know.

I feel like majority of the MangaPlus comment users are actually the shonen audience it is intended for, so I am not surprised.
Agreed with what you have said though. It will be a mess when Shokugeki no Souma Finale releases seeing the raw leaks lmao. People on the subreddit are already angry about it.

Thanks for making me feel bad about Saiyuki again, Raf.

Also, that design for the Mitama protag is...incredibly boring, honestly. Just looking at it feels like it's unappealing on a subconscious level.

I will wait for the chapter 1 to come out, but currently I don't really have much faith in Mitama, especially if it isn't a gag which would then bring up a question: "Why the hell did Jump serialize 2 similar manga with probably just different settings and MC ages?" This kinda reminds me of Kuroko no Basuke - Hoopmen mess. Though in that case the 2 manga premiered in different batches, unlike in this one.

You can pull some good examples like Area no Kishi-Days (and Area no Kishi was a very old veteran by the time Days debuted), and it wasn't Jump where the reception matters more, compared one to another.

but they said that mitama was a gag manga about exorcism, so it couldn't be like yozakura

Very surprised to see Fist of North Star being bigger than One Piece. I expect Naruto and Saint Seiya to be over the 30th place.
