Naoki Azuma (Shonen Guardian and Sowaka), though Naoki left Shueisha and is now at Kodansha
Toru Uchimizu (Kain and Asklepios), also left Shueisha apparently for Akita Shoten
Amon Dai (Muteki Tekki Spin-chan and Taizo Moteo)
Naoya Sugita (Zan and SWOT)
Katsutoshi Murase (KO Sen and Dois Sol)
Kizuku Watanabe (Marchen Oji Grimm and Koisuru Edison)
Kenta Komiyama, Yūya Kawada duo (Kikai Banashi Hanasaka Ikkyu and Smoky BB)
KAITO (Cross Manage and Buddy Strike)
Kosuke Hamada (Dogashi Kaden and Pajama na Kanojo)
Shinsuke Kondou (Retsu Date Senpai and Judos)
Masahiro Hirakata (Best Blue and Shinmai Fukei Kiruko-san)
Tomohiro Hasegawa (Koi no Cupid Hakenohara Jin and Spring Weapon No 1)
Tsunehiro Date (Cross Account and Tokyo Wonder Boys)
Ryohei Yamamoto (Love Rush and E-Robot)
Yusuki Tanaka (Hitomi no Catoblepas and Kagijin)

Takuma Yokota (Shudan, Straighten Up) can be also included I guess. Majority of these will probably never return to the magazine though (some already left Shueisha, some moved to Jump+)
Uchimizu Tohru has three cancelled series with Shonen Jump, but beyond that this is bang on

Without an anime ?

Believe it
It's not impossible. All it needs is a good recommendation or some exposure via some other means. There are several ways a series can grow without an anime.

So, I have been following WSJ since 2016. However, I stopped following for a while in the beginning of this year because of some irl shit.
Could someone explain to me what changed in the status quo since then? I was trying to read the thread by myself to see everything but its just too much pages
The last round I saw was Kamio Yui/Last Sayuuki
If anyone could answer, I would be very glad
-ne0 and Higuma got axed
-Saiyuki recently got axed,
-Soma and Hinomaru Sumo ended with the former recently wrapping up a lil run in GIGA with a 3 chapter epilogue which didnt even needed one,
-2 new serialization rounds started; one with with the return of Naruto's Masashi Kishimoto Samurai 8, Futari no Taisei (shogi manga), Beast Children (rugby manga) and Tokyo Shinobi Squad; with all of them actually doing bad in the TOC so it looks like they'll be axed (S8 might live a bit more due to Kishi); the other with a series from the author of Prince Poro and another gag manga
-Haikyuu gonna get a new anime season

I totally forgot about Sengoku Rappaden Sasori, 2003 after all :(
Thanks!

Kousuke Hamada already left Shueisha, he's now on Kodansha making Hanebado on good Afternoon, which got an anime adaptation last year.
Yep, that is right. Glad for the mangaka by the way.

But these are usually special cases like Neverland .... Jujutsu is now having a similar fate to Black Cloveer pre anime ...

(S8 might live a bit more due to Kishi);
Only the name of Kishimoto sells the volumes on their own, so I believe that in comparison to the new series and considering the current situation of the magazine, there is no reason for it to terminate prematurely. The only difference could be the length of the series. If it goes "bad" it will be on 10 volumes, as Kishimoto thought (I think I read it somewhere), if it goes well it will be more durable.

In my opinion, however it goes, they will end the series with Kishimoto when he wants, regardless of the sales that will be high in any case compared to other emerging series

Thanks! did Zumo had a decent ending? I was planning to read this one, but I don't want to lose time with a manga that fucks everything up in the end.
I don't even need to ask about Soma though. It was probably a trainwreck in the finale as well

It did had a good ending, definitely waaaaaaaay above Soma's, a lil rushed IMO but a good ending nonetheless

HZ had an ending that needed an extra chapter or an epilogue. Kind of dissapointing. Feels rushed, as if the manga was axed.
Souma was a waste of extra pages.

Imo both had poor endings (HZ being better), but I am pretty much accustomed to this from shonen manga anyways.

That's so true. Very few shounen manga that I've read had a good ending. Normally as they solve the last conflict (be it defeating the Big Bad, fullfiling their dreams, etc), the series end in the next chapter with no time at all for us to see the consequences or anything that bring us a feeling of satisfaction or any impact in the world...

Year 2019 and the best ending in a Jump title for me continues being Ring ni Kakero.

Jump started 11 series this year;

Chainsaw man is safe.
NeO, Higuma and saiyuki have been canceled.
Yui, beast children double taisei and TSS are on the gallows just waiting for the axe.
samurai 8 is a doubt for me.

So all that remains is Yozakura and Mitama, and I hope both are well accepted.

Looking through this list, most of them are either forgettable gag author or have left Jump entirely. Tsunehiro Date is in interesting one to see, though. Hopefully he'll hit a strike on his third go and make the next major romcom for Jump, we kinda need that right now.

I would like to see Love Rush's author back. Love Rush was from the first serialization round I ever followed and so I really like him (that's why Neverland is also my favorite series on the magazine rn)
perhaps when Yuuna and/or WNL end?

Chainsaw Man, ne0, and Higuma were 2018. Albeit late 2018, but still 2018.

That's news to me.
Anyway, I hope he is sucessful in whatever magazine he is in. I would really like if he tried a 3rd shot in the main magazine after some experience, though
