It would be hilarious if Bokuben ends before Yuuna.
If my calculations about how much longer the former series has left ring true, that may very well prove to be the case.

Calm down, man. I just said that it was very enjoyable to me as a Shokugeki fan who was disappointed by how it ended. If you don't agree, that's fine. As for why it received such treatment instead Hinomaru Zumou, it is simple: Shokugeki no Soma was a solid series until the end despite its final decay, produced many anime seasons and good popularity in the occident making the authors to come to events in the US and probably in some other places. Hinomaru Zumou was never such marketable series.
Sorry if I came as to aggresive or rude, that wasnt my intention, I am aware of why Soma got the extra chapters, I am aware it is 'cause it is still a more profitable series than HZ, for whats worth the very last chapter was at least somehow enjoyable, but the other two didnt do much, the whole deal with his mom just felt like an afterthought and just really didnt needed to know more about Asahi, which seriously that last reveal is straight out of a soap opera.

I could see one of them but not both (assuming this year means 2019 not within the next 365 days)

Tokyo Shinobi Squad isn't doing that bad, it did better than first Kamio Yui volume if i remember well.

Ok then... Show me these many big hits where they have this criteria of their anime running (pretty much every year) when the series was spending more than half of its lifetime in a downward trajectory & dropped down to pre-anime sales. You can call it successful sure but it's not impressive (especially to justify an extended ending). Like I said in my previous post, I didnt deny its success but what I do deny is that its somehow impressive enough to justify a 3 chapter extended ending.

Iirc wasnt it mentioned that it got another season due to its popularity in the west?
So Souma peaked in volume 14 and from there it didn't sell the same, so what? this happens with every popular manga, you know that, so why is just with Souma that is suddenly something so bad? did it matter for the next 16 volumes? if Tsukuda never made the big mistakes we would never have this discussion because the manga would be going on for the 8th year with no signs of rushed ending, it only became a issue after the big drop in sales with the time skip.

So a series that sold like over 200k for 7 years with multiple anime seasons don't deserve 3 epilogue chapters in a minor magazine? you're talking like these things are just so rare or special when isn't really something that special, and we're talking about Shonen Jump, in any other magazine Souma wouldn't even be finished yet because the editor in chief wouldn't rush a popular series like that because some drop in sales, Jump is the one that have the luxury of doing that.

I don't know if you realise but implying that a cooking series is so popular in the west that it's getting a new anime season because of that it's the definition of something impressive.

Nope. My JP friend sent me the Shoseki rankings, and Yui is sitting at 46th.

Yui 46, Saiyuki 141.

What does it say that a canceled manga is doing better than two of the newbies?

Thank you lord, a new color page for Yuuna, finally! That detective one shot looks interesting...

Damn, Yuuna is ending soon? Again?!

Such a shame that has been ending since the anime concluded. Yuuna doesn't deserves to end that many times. :(

No, but seriously, when Jump stops getting such much new failures and when it can finds a replacement for the series, Yuuna wont be ending soon.

I already explained why it's not impressive. No, it doesn't happen with every popular manga, stop lying. Not every popular manga declines all the way below pre-anime sales when it had its anime running & has a downward trajectory for most of its run. I dont see how you can call that impressive. Also you still haven't told me about these "many big hits" from my previous post.

Well minor magazine or not, it doesn't deserve an extended ending. It is rare; how many successful titles got an opportunity to expand upon it's ending? I dont recall a lot of them having it, it is quite rare.

I know but the reasons I've mentioned countless times already overshadow it's international success. When you say the success of a series is impressive; I think of something like Kimetsu, Kingdom, OP, AOT, Haikyuu, Gintama, etc, etc. SnS doesn't come to mind for a series where the success was impressive.
