up to 1 month, shoseki only since boruto had a different number for 4 weeks and 5 weeks

some are only using estimates from weekly rankings hence not a complete month

and some are using estimates based on the the daily rankings in reference to the daily estimates of the weekly estimates from the weekly rankings

i would assume old methods so no additional formulated decay that book-rank recently used before thei death again

people might say why i use such long term, well since shoseki does not do estimates for each rank, they give ranks and range, and even the owner doesn't really want people to use it to count estimates.
I mean the owner is being reasonable. Since Shoseki is not as transparent and "definite, in the end, we see Shoseki more like an estimate until Oricon's numbers drop.

Komi Naoshi can do whatever he wants, his drawing is suitable for everything and given his oneshots he can go from slice of life to fantasy, but always with a little bit of romance. Since action and romance together is mostly inexistent in Jump historically it would be interesting to see something of the sort and Komi Naoshi has the experience for that.

And I see people bashing Nisekoi since 2011, I don't fall for that anymore. I'm not the kind of person who gets upset because someone is saying that its favorite series is bad and should be canceled like we are seeing right now around here.

I myself use it for some calculations, though i don't bother to use a" "proper method", just simple linear interpolation and just for myself to better calculate missing weeks

Not just a battle shonen with romance, but a battle shonen that deeply cares about characters and their relationships to one another would be a welcomed addition to the magazine

Nah, he can't, you're talking about a bunch of one shots, based on that every author "can do whatever he wants", but writting a full series? whole another story and he failed with a mix of fantasy + romance, and despite Nisekoi being very popular everybody knows what that thing turned into after 50 chapters, being very honest, Naoshi is good with one shots but he has problems with full series.

Double Arts was one of the most polemic cancellations I've seen, many people believe it was unfairly cancelled.
And Nisekoi is just one of the most popular romances in Shonen Jump history, calling it a failure is laughable, I will pretend I never read this.
Jump readers are too used to reading action series and have not read romance enough to know how it works.

Now you are expecting too much from a Jump series, man. :P
It is very rare even outside of here.

Hmm, i never said Nisekoi was a failure (sales), i don't know where you read that when i literally said it was very popular lol

About Double Arts, people can think it was unfair (to me it was a average manga) but still a manga that didn't take much time to die in the rankings despite the good sales, basically what happened with Robot x Laserbeam (different context tho), which means it was a failure.

Double Arts came out in a very different time for Jump, where even the lowest selling titles were doing 200k. I think it's pretty reasonable to argue that, had it come out now, it could've easily gotten off the ground without a hitch. Same deal as Mx0, Psyren, Enigma and Magico.

Also, Leonat, Shinuki was an Onedera fan, so don't be surprised that he's biased against Komi. :teehee

I'm not really a "Onodera fan" is just that any girl was better than Chitoge and that incredibly predictable and boring ending, and i still find disturbing what Naoshi did with Onodera and the giant middle finger he gave to her fans, it was like "hey, thank you for supporting my manga for this 4+ years, btw look what i did with your favorite girl!"

Well, all these examples survived for at least a year while Double Arts died fast in the rankings but yeah, today the story would be different if sold the same thing

I want many of them to come back but i voted on Kubo because i really have a giant curiosity to see what something totally new (no connection with Bleach) from him would look like

While I would love to see most of these to come back, I want Matsui to come back the most. I think he's a genius in every definition of the word

Matsui in a heartbeat. However weak I found F-Ken, the man is truly an evolving and adapting lifeform, and that is a powerful tool for Jump.

Matsui. I loved Assassination Classroom, and while F-Ken hasn’t gotten the best reception, I am still excited for whatever hell serialize next.

New poll is up.
How often do these polls go up? I really like them, they’re always good conversation starters.

There's no set frequency. It's mostly when we (myself and the volunteer) feel it's appropriate.
