Yes, it did. Here's my initial post:
That intitial doesn't explain anything especially in the concept of "their" since we're talking about female characters in general for the series not just Senku's core group.

How is that flashback the most crucial element to the series? Even if the village hadn't been there, Senku would have still done his thing. It only would have taken a little longer since he would've had to revive his allies one by one.
Because its the foundation to everything that's currently happening in the story.

And how is being a mother a negative stereotype for women? You keep talking about 'breeding cows', but I think you're the only one who sees it that way.
How is being a love considered a negative if its to a woman? The circumstances can be considered equal parts absurd and squick within initself that a group of scientists and their ancestors were responsible for everything in the current story.

No, I was listing off the occupations to prove you were wrong when you said the women were nothing but love interests and baby makers.
But you're ignoring the fact that was indeed the case during the flashback in fact that was a major plot element in the manga and the reason the village even exists.

What does this have to do with political intent?

Or are you saying that the writers are using the occupations as a way to make the women look better? Because in that case, let me point out that most of the males have similar occupations. The entire cast basically exists to support Senku, men and women alike.
So you cannot deny that the female cast and male cast aren't on equal ground then. And not every character exists to support Senku either there's plenty of woman who exists to support the males though.

Spy X Family 1 at 60th place.
I hope it can reach 500k before dropping off.
Isn't it already about to reach 400k? If we are lucky maybe the 3rd release will get the first volume another boost like the 2nd volume release did. Watching Vol.1 rise a couple spots in the rankings each week after the release of the new volume was crazy...

For female characters this decade, I'd have to say World Trigger, even if it's not in Jump anymore. Tons of females, many capable and in high positions and badasses, none are sexualised or reduced to love interests despite the transformation being a perfect opportunity to do so, and they get equal screentime to males. Ashihara does the simple thing of valueing all of his characters and treating them equally. WT just does so many things masterfully, it really is an amazing series and blows pretty much everything this decade out of the water in most aspects in sheer writing quality.

Act-age is pretty similar in its treatment to WT too. Reina is probably the most "real" feeling female we've had in Jump for a while and I don't think anyone expected Kawada to handle her as well as he did, especially when she started off as a trope. MHA's female characters are well above the quality we usually see in Jump stuff, but they're terribly underutilised, though that's a problem for most of the side characters tbh. Not a fan of any of BC's main females at all. Noelle has been treated well these last few arcs, but the Asta complex is so forced and unnecessary. She'd be a pretty good character without it.. Haven't read the later parts of Jujutsu so won't comment. Nothing else really has females worth mentioning I don't think.
If I could like a comment at least ten times, this would be one of them.^^

b-b-but people told me mha new season won't give it a boost
can't wait to have the exact same argument when s5 starts
If i remember the topic was more about if BNHA would be able to reach 1 million per volume with the new season, that it would get some "boost" was kinda obvious but so far it seems like what Dr. Stone is having.

Pretty sure the foundation is people getting turned to stone (which the space team had nothing to do with).

They aren't responsible for everything. Like I said before, even if the village hadn't been there, Senku would have still done his thing. It only would have taken a little longer since he would've had to revive his allies one by one.

Also, while I can see why you might have a problem with the ancestor thing, that still places men and women in the same boat.

But you're ignoring the fact that was indeed the case during the flashback in fact that was a major plot element in the manga and the reason the village even exists.
I'm not ignoring anything. It's true that during the flashback the women mainly served to preserve humanity.

But 1) that goes for the men as well, and 2) that doesn't mean the current cast has the same purpose.

So you cannot deny that the female cast and male cast aren't on equal ground then. And not every character exists to support Senku either there's plenty of woman who exists to support the males though.
Repeating myself again:

You were arguing that the girls are nothing but love interests and baby makers, I pointed out that this is wrong and that many of them have very important roles. Now you are acting as if I said that the girls are more important that the guys, which I did not. But they are a whole lot more important than you made them out to be.

With this week's sales it will be closer to that figure. It will take another one or two weeks to cross 400k.

So, I have an alternative question for everyone.

Which popular WSJ series (old or new) has treated it's female cast the worst?

Chainsaw Man, seriously author-san, why can't any women in this series be a bit normal? or all of them have to be some crazy insane asshole or at least treat Denji like a pet?

Naruto easily for me.

Hitman Reborn and Yu-gi-oh were also meh in that sense.

-Reborn ended with Chrome being literally "M-Mukuro-sama!"
-Yu-gi-oh had Anzu which was more a fangirl than anything, and Mai with her awesome strike of 0 wins in the manga

I should really watch Bakuman again, cause that seems to be a popular answer. I can vouch for Death Note’s Misa, though, she was annoying and just there to be used.
From what I gather, Hinata was literally the only girl with actual character in Naruto. Sakura never really got over her pining for Sasuke, huh? In hindsight, that pairing should’ve never happened.
I’ll also say To-Love Ru not because it’s an ecchi but mostly because it’s an ecchi where characters stay one-note cause barely anything fucking happens.

I will say though, Jump shonen probably treats it’s female cast better than Magazine shonen, at least.

Dragon Ball.

Toriyama legit forgot that Launch was a character.
Chi Chi and Videl being completely ruined as characters just becoming housewives despite being two of the more powerful humans. They did the same to Android 18 once she became good.
Bulla having no use despite being half saiyan.

Dragon Ball or Saint Seiya.

I wanted to say Dragon Ball, but at least it had characters like Bulma, Launch, and even Chichi. If we could split the anime seasons up, however, then Dragon Ball Z would be among the worst because they barely even exist. Legit just Android 18 and that's it, from all i remember.

EDIT: Oh, right, Videl. Forgot she was a thing. Goddamn, you're actually right.

Wait, all of the most prominent female characters in the series (Videl, Chichi, Bulma, Android 18), which the exception of Launch, start off as badasses but then just end up being just pregnant housewives in the end. Holy shit. I worry for Cheelai now.
