1. Kimetsu no Yaiba - 12,057,628Let it begin. The shitpost. https://www.oricon.co.jp/confidence/special/53961/7/
Ah, that sweet feeling seeing Gotoubun no Hanayome outsell My Hero Academia. Now it's time to see a bunch more pages about One Piece vs Kimetsu. Even if One Piece did actually beat Kimetsu, I would've still expected Kimetsu's number to be about what it was shown here.Let it begin. Sorry for always being ignorant. This is the only place where I can ask questions relating to things like this. Is this the final list of manga sales this year? Doesn't that mean Demon Slayer win?Let it begin. The shitpost. https://www.oricon.co.jp/confidence/special/53961/7/
Either someone was trolling the editor or someone literally fucked up and told the editor the opposite numbers.Let it begin. The shitpost. https://www.oricon.co.jp/confidence/special/53961/7/
Yep. This is the official list, so the race to the top is finally over.Sorry for always being ignorant. This is the only place where I can ask questions relating to things like this. Is this the final list of manga sales this year? Doesn't that mean Demon Slayer win?
Sorry again
Its close to being the opposite.Either someone was trolling the editor or someone literally fucked up and told the editor the opposite numbers.
But great on KnY. What an achievement. Destroyed what MHA and TPN did. I believe every single volume is in the top 50 list, which is insane.
I understand you meant no harm.Either someone was trolling the editor or someone literally fucked up and told the editor the opposite numbers.

Eh no. I don't care which series does what. The remarkable feat is that KNY is a series that NONE of us (and probably Shueisha) expected to top what TPN and MHA did this generation. It's an actual tale of an underdog surpassing all expectations by miles. The stuff you'd see in something like Bakuman.I understand you meant no harm.
But I hope this doesn’t become a thing where people start the
“HA! Kimetsu did in 1 season what MHA couldn’t do with 3 seasons”, and “Neverland wishes it exploded as much” thing.
Every series in the top 10 are mega successful series. Shouldn’t be a rage war between fans over which series is more successful.
Or saying that "One Piece took an L" which I know people are going to say.I understand you meant no harm.

I think Kimetsu will likely get another backlog boost from its movie so I doubt Kingdom can be #2 for 2020. Hell this current boost shows no sign of stopping and I think its growing by every week lmaoMy bet for 2020 because yes:
1. One Piece
2. Kingdom
3. Kimetsu no Yaiba
4. My Hero Academia
5. Haikyuu
6. Shingeki no Kyojin
7. The Promised Neverland
8. Jujutsu Kaisen
9. 5toubun no Hanayome
10. SpyxFamily (or Slime doing the three-peat)
Saving this for late-november 2020.
And ofcourse half of this list are WSJ titles.Let it begin. The shitpost. https://www.oricon.co.jp/confidence/special/53961/7/
Oricon knows what’s up with the teaThis is going to be fun. Shueisha just added fuel to the fire by releasing their numbers.
Of course, because they want One Piece to stay #1It’s crazy to me how now almost everyone on twitter(specifically One Piece fans) is saying that Oricon is not a legit source for sales info, and it shouldn’t be used as fact, when in all of my time following manga, Oricon has always been the go to site regarding sales info
Don't forget that people suddenly starting acting like Oricon was just some aggregate site, and not a conglomerate that tracks the sales of literally everything in Japanese entertainment. It’s crazy to me how now almost everyone on twitter(specifically One Piece fans) is saying that Oricon is not a legit source for sales info, and it shouldn’t be used as fact, when in all of my time following manga, Oricon has always been the go to site regarding sales info
Sitting here with my tea waiting for Shueisha's response. Also, congrats for KNY for being a humongous success, it made history.Let it begin. The shitpost. https://www.oricon.co.jp/confidence/special/53961/7/
