The only one that got reprinted so far is volume 18 but you can tell it only hit the stores on the 20th cause on shoseki it jumped from like 38th to 2nd.

Ah yeah I just checked here's the shoseki 1/20. So by February we will see the effects of the reprints.

I'm not really sure how much the anime can push given that the previous seasons weren't exactly a great adaptation, but I'm thinking if kingdom gets a somewhat decent boost with the amount of volumes it has it is decently likely to take 2nd from OP.
Now that'd be something.

From what I heard OP will release less volumes than last year due to the constant breaks? Also, kingdom has that 2nd spot guaranteed due to the upcoming anime.

Yeah, but it all comes down to how many breaks Oda gets. For now, there are only 4 chapters not in tankoubon, which means it needs almost 2 months (without breaks) to release a new volume.

One Piece did a bit more than 10kk last year releasing 4 volumes, if it releases 3 and accounting for a decline, it should do around 6,5kk? Maybe 7kk? That would be a reasonable guess. So yeah, it's surpassable, Kingdom and Neverland both did more than that last year. But I don't know if Kingdom has much more to grow and Neverland is ending. Maybe a new series will get an anime and surprise us all?
