Really liked Zipman, feels quite Toku and I’m curious to see how the plot goes from this point.

Beast Children’s final chapter was alright, it was fine but I won’t really miss it I guess.

Just that I think hiding the results is the best way to go, since it seems to lead to less bandwagon-voting.

Not sure what to think of Zipman yet. The art is nice, but the beginning is way too similar to BNHA. And Kaname's relationship with his brother is just plain weird. He seems more annoyed about his brother's death and that he can't beat him than the fact that he died. What kind of twin relationship is that?

The kind where two toddlers decide to spend the rest of their lives fighting each other because a girl smiled at them once. Apparently.

I'm a little freaked out too, but from what I could see they are both equally bad about it (and the older brother is clearly far less capable of fully grasping how messed-up the situation is), so not putting all of the blame on Kaname here.

My thoughts on Zipman:
It shows that we've truly reached an age where just to survive, the majority of newbies are forcing a shonen veneer as if that is what made the great shonens truly great. Mistaking the surface for what truly makes series shine.
In addition, the paneling and composition needs work, it shows that the author is still green.
Still, Jump needs all the assertive/confident MCs it can get, and the concept is fresh (in Jump). Also brother wearing brother is a newly acquired fetish. All in all the art is nice but as Shinpachi said, bad mangaka confused manga for just drawing good art so I hope the story and various other elements improve from here. I am moderately hopeful.

About ZIPMAN!!, I'm not completely sold yet, but there were bits and pieces I did enjoy.

Eh, Zipman was average. Didn't hate it, but it wasn't really exciting. Felt like a... very standard first chapter, overall.

I’m okay with Zipman so far. It definitely left a more positive impression than Tokyo Shinobi Squad, Beast Children, and Mitami Security did. I’ll wait and see.

I think we're all neglecting to note that SxF is less than ten months old, and is already the face of Jump+ as a service in promotion. That's some crazy growth if I've ever seen it.

And its growth might even go further with that new chapter. I expected a lot but not

that our perfect (fake) family would get a dog that can look into the future!!! Oh man, I can't wait to see how this dog becomes part of their family next time! Big plushie character who will easily become a plush-toy merch in the future of SxF once it gets an anime! <3

PD: Am I the only one having the feeling Yozakura has introducted an important secondary character in a time where that step can mean the manga survives? I mean, about that number was when Tsurugi was introduced in Nisekoi, or Koharu in Dr.Stone

Unless you're talking about coat-brother. He's confident enough, I guess (actually my first impression is that he's an arrogant a***ole, but we haven't been properly introduced yet).

I was hesitating between "this dog is psychic" and "this dog has been trained to track down and murder those three people."

Given the nature of the series, I wouldn't be terribly surprised by either.

Curiously enough, I had a stronger MHA vibes sensation before reading it, aftewards it reminds me of something else, but I can't quite put my finger on it
