General question I'm asking to liven up the thread, but what're you guys thoughts on Jumps direction in the 2-3 years?

I don't think you really have to worry about "livening up" a thread that has produced 86 pages in 2.5 weeks. Especially since we're probably getting this week's MH Poll results within the next few hours.

I also don't really know what you mean by the question. The past 2-3 years? The next 2-3 years from now?

It's actually already been referenced. Nine made a small cameo in the manga.

In One Piece Strong World the villain of that movie is mention in the manga. But despite the villain being canon to the story, and Oda writing the story, the movie itself is not canon.

I doubt there will be any moment in the series where they’ll mention the big fight of movie in the manga, leaving a moment that readers who didn’t watch the movie don’t understand. The movie likely won’t hold any importance in the series as a whole is what I’m saying

Its canon more in the sense of some details about All Might past and etc because the rest is pretty much filler, the villain was super forgettable and that final battle was so over the top that made "All Might VS All For One" look like two drunk guys fighting in the street, that thing will never be addressed/recognized in the manga

I fairness, Yuuna is hindered by the fact that it isn't on M+, and Edited Mangas always drop hours later. Plus no one has the dignity to really stake a vote on it.

Demon Slayer is just having a long ass fight. Nothing really WOWING is happening which is why people probably aren't voting for it atm

Taking in count all the negative comments here, Yozakura and Agravity Boys got a lot of votes xD but Zipman kinda flopped this week and Neverland sinked in the votes.

Yuuna isn't in a really great moment in the last weeks so isn't surprise the lack of votes, i prefer the typical SoL lewd chapters

Well, i gave my votes to Black Clover (Mimosa forced me), Samurai 8 and a honor vote for Tokyo Shinobi Squad (Goodbye)

Kimetsu no Yaiba has been in an arc for a year, so it’s in a very long fight. We’re seemingly reaching the end so it should do better in the upcoming polls. The last real good chapter was 179, after that just build up

A trend I'm noticing is that we're constantly getting tie votes.

I'm not sure how we deal with those unless we increase the amount of times people can vote. But, I'm not sure I want to go down that route either.

Idk but I found the kabooming hype asf. There is a thing about Chainsaw man fights that just pull you in. That one can be excused imo. It didn't feel like a drag at all. Like my jaw was just dropping in these recent chapters.

Kimetsu is not really exciting for me for a while now, personally. Not actually bad, just not something I would vote for. But then again, I never found the fights to be the that great in it...

Chainsawman was 1st in 3 out of 4 weeks and a very close second when it wasn't, impressive. Happy that Mitama is getting some love here.

Agravity Boys debuted this issue, so it's not surprising people paid attention to it. As for Yozakura, the series got quite a number of people interested in it early on, so it's not surprising people are giving it votes in spite of the manga having underpreformed in terms of expectations.

As for Zipman...yeah, we can expect that to be the norm. As I've said, the series isn't terrible, but it does remarkably little to really stand out or be interesting beyond the Tokusatsu gimmick. It's not a surprise people are already quickly tuning out.
