Honestly I never thought of that idea, but that would probably be pretty interesting, though I think it's pretty unlikely. Personally my ideal studio for CSM would be Shaft I think, which is honestly probably just as unlikely.

I know it’s unlikely but seeing devilman crybaby made me think not only would it nail it’s darker atmosphere and violent nature (seriously hope it doesn’t get censored) but also looking at the character design and animation comparing it to different panels I feel this studio is absolutely perfect.

The director of Devilman Crybaby, the legendary Masaaki Yuasa is currently taking an extended break before his next project. He stepped down as president of Science Saru and his position has been taken by Eunyoung Choi. As far as I know, she hasn't directed a full show yet, but she's done pretty much everything from animation to storyboards, episode direction, producing, and more.

She's incredibly accomplished and I would love to see her take the director's seat for a full show, but the work she produces won't necessarily be the same as Yuasa's trademark style. She's worked with him for years, so there might be some similarities though.

My only wish for a Chainsaw Man anime is that Takahiro Kishida does the character designs. Just look at his work for the first three seasons of Haikyu!! and Gleipnir recently. Fujimoto loves having characters wear baggy, wrinkly clothing which is Kishida's specialty, lol. Seeing him go all out on the designs would be amazing!

Masaaki Yuasa(Science Sarku founder) picked up and directed Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken solely because someone on twitter asked him to adapt it.

So I suppose if you want Science Saru to adapt Chainsaw Man you could tweet it into existence

Takahiro Kishida does the character designs. Just look at his work for the first three seasons of Haikyu!!

He is still the character designer on s4. If you are wondering why Haikyuu s4 looks different from the others seasons, it is because the chief animation director left and wasn't replaced. The CAD job is to keep consistency (and quality) between every shot/drawing. See sakugablog on the CAD of haikyuu(his name is Chiba)

Edit:the director and a major action animation director left also, but design wise it is the CAD leaving that had the most effect
