Apparently the editor of Angyaman (the mangaka for just ended J+/MangaPlus series East, Into the Night) told him he is crap/shit?? Hopefully someone with better knowledge of Japanese helps out here, but ouch if true.
He's actually saying that, because of him, his editor got called crap/shit (probably by his superiors)
Neither are nice stuff to hear.
Damn, I really liked this and was looking forward to see what Anag's purpose as Cyborg with the dream of tomorrow was. what the background story of Tiyo is given she was found as a child with a relic weapon in her hands and the ruins AI responded to her, the whole Fire Cult using and searching actively for Relics while branding anyone else doing so as heretics and devils (like what is their real goal? Just power can't be, they can do that without relics due faith of the population), the two survivors who want to use relics and ruins to bring down the Fire Cult, little Pert also being someone the AIs of old respond to despite being a child of the highest member of the Fire Cult, where those dark clouds came from that keep the sun out and so on. Like there is so much you could have done with this world cast in darkness, people living in cities and settlements not only closed in by walls but also their own narrow-mindedness and maaaaaaaaaaaaaan, Anag and Tiyo were such a good hero duo, I am really sad I only got to see 12 chapters with those two, the mangaka managed to make me care about those two more in the first chapter than most of the WSJ newbie series did with their first chapter. Both having a mysterious background, both being fighters with Anag being more of a Scholar and Tiyo more of a Hunter type, one a human, one a Cyborg, both looking for the "tomorrow".
Man, such a shame, I guess going sole digital ain't just cutting it nowadays...
