I'm actually more scared than excited about this "lot of new series" since it can mean one or two unnecesary sacrifices like what happened to Ole Golazo, but well, seems like Jump is trying hard to fill the big hole that the veterans are lefting and i bet we will have one of them coming back too.

But i guess at least i dont need to worry about Yozakura for now :fan

So, for the whole TPN thing, we depend on Volume 19.

If volumes were to be filled with 9 chapters:
· Vol. 19 = 162-170
· Vol. 20 = 171-179
· Vol. 21 = 180 (This week's chapter) onwards

If volumes were to be filled with 10 chapters:
· Vol. 19 = 162-171
· Vol. 20 = 172-181

If Volume 19 were to be filled with 10 chapters and Volume 20 with 9, and vice versa:
· TPN ends this week with Chapter 180.

1 spot since kimetsu ended, with TPN, Yuuna, Witch and possibly Mitama and AB ending thats 6 spots in total that we could have for next round. -1 for Burn the Witch if is in the next round, we could get maximum 5 new unknown series.
Kimetsu didn't leave an open slot. Time Paradox Ghostwriter got Kimetsu's spot although it started in the same issue where Kimetsu ended. One Piece was just on break that week which is why there were still 20 series in that issue, as usual. If One Piece had been in that issue, it would've been 21 series.

I guess the ToC's leak tonight/tomorrow may be pretty interesting if there's a big batch apparently coming.

I suppose there's been a bunch of new series just doing barely okay and not growing, but it still feels there's not enough to for the latest batch to find an audience if we're suddenly getting possibly 5-6 new manga.

If we really are getting a big batch and end up with, say 5 new series (one being Burn the Witch), that would be us already up to 13 this jump year, the highest since I think 2015. After that they'll only need 2 more to get the highest number of new series since 1994 if I've counted right (which had 17), which is pretty much guaranteed to happen.

(CSM has 2.1 mil in circulation.)
For comparison, Jujutsu Kaisen had 2 million by volume 6 + volume 0, so they are on par. These are some great numbers. The fact that these two series have been able to grow so much before an anime is great news and I can only look forward to see what more they can do.

I'm hoping there will be a sports and a romcom at least in this new batch. BTW will most likely be in this batch because it was announced to be starting this summer. It's already June. If the batch is 4 or more, I guess they might throw in an action series or some unique work different from the usual. Maybe serialization for a recent one shot that people really enjoyed. Please no more gags, we got like 5 or 6 already.

For the poll, I think a veteran will return. Not sure who, but seems like a good opportunity. Even if it's just Kubo and a lot of newbies, I'd still be fine with it as long as there's a few good ones this time.

Also hell yeah for the CSM numbers. I was thinking it would be 2m when the number gets updated, but it exceeded my expectation.

When we got that big batch of 6 a few years ago we got 3 new series from veterans (Dr Stone, RxL, Hungry Marie), 2 new series from newbies (U19 and Poro), and 1 series from an author with mild success but no proper hits (WNL).

We've had so many total newbies lately and I like seeing them, but it would be nice to get 3 and a half veterans again for a change. Even if two of them fail like last time.

Why do you think Neverland will end, when don't have it written? Especially after the last chapter.

Good riddance, TPN. What a disappointment you became.

A lot of new series, huh... well, it almost was to expected with so much many "established series XY is in its final arc" and GotW screaming "axe fodder".

Figured this should also be posted. So many possibilities... I really wanna see the TOC and news for Issue 27. There’s a lot of scenarios that can play out here.

-Is Neverland ending now?
-Will Yuuna end sooner or later?
-When will Guardian get axed?
-Will Miitama get axed?
-How many new series are there?
-Who is returning and who’s new? What can we expect from these new manga?
-If there’s more than 4 new series, what else will end?

I’m real excited. Jump’s been really exciting as of late. All this sweeping change and sudden ends - 2020 Jump is looking to be even wilder than 2016. Then again, 2020 has been wild.

The author of Nisekoi could return, now that the author of Yamada kun has returned to Magazine and is succeeding.

After the latest chapter, I can definitely see Yuuna ending in the next couple weeks. It only really needs 2-3 more chapters to finish up everything completely at this point, it just needs to not get distracted.

More evidence of Neverland’s imminent end. Getting much likely that it could end either this week or next week, as Raf hypothesized with the volumes.

It's due to end, but I don't think Issue 27 will be the one it does, but Issue 28 with some Color Page. Mostly because I believe Volume 19 having a higher price is due to it probably having 10 chapters, and the final one would be likely to have them too. Still, this is all pure hypothesis and estimations, anything could happen.

So it's just another of those climax announcements. Is anyone counting?
