My bet is around 2 million. There are more reprints to come this month and with volume 18 selling ridiculously well, the other volumes will follow suit.

This week volume 18 should reach 1M and reprint order for vol18 will be delivered to stores today.

My bet will be 2M its peak. Well, Jump festa is coming and if they drop a new pv or another announcement, it will have some effect in the sales again.

I didn't see this kind of boost before,(heard Attack on Titan had a similar or bigger boost though I wasn't a manga or anime fan then so can't be sure myself).

I realistically don't see that happening (though Kimetsu's boost tends to violate all known laws of reality), but if it does, the complete and utter meltdown that'll happen online will be glorious.

On the daily rankings for 12/15, this week's episode of MHA gave the backlog a small boost, with most volumes jumping up spots. Don't know if that will keep up or if the upcoming fights will manage to push this boost a little further. KNY has managed to grab a hold of most of the top 10 with volumes 1-3 and 13-17.

Pretty sure AoT boost was bigger. It got a 1M+ boost in volume sales and ended up doing like 16M in series sales that year.

I realistically don't see that happening (though Kimetsu's boost tends to violate all known laws of reality), but if it does, the complete and utter meltdown that'll happen online will be glorious.

I'm assuming here that the movie will give the series yet another massive boost. Yes it's not always that movies bring boosts but then again as you mentioned, its Kimetsu lol

Nah, One Piece in the beginning of the 2010s still is by far the biggest with the boost of the movies that made it reach over 20 million in many years.

KNY: Backlgs are absolutely insane. This boost is still going and it seems as if it's nowhere near over. How much did Volume 1 fucking sell, if it beat out Week 2 of HeroAca #25? I'm betting over 100k. Man, when the reprints come for Volume 18, it'll be amazing to witness the series reach new heights. Jump's gonna need a bigger print for Volume 19, and I thought 1 million was crazy...
MHA: And we have arrived at the crucial week. Whole season's been building up to this: the long arc's beginning to barrel towards it's climax and the movie's releasing. We'll see how far MHA S4 backlogs can push from here on out.
Jump+: Dosanko Gyaru's sold about 3.5k this week, huh? Nice to see it again. Hope it grows from here.

2011: 37.9 million

I've said it once and I'll say it again, what is happening in the manga has only a minor effect on sales growth. It's all built around promotion. That's why anime boosts are so common.

Well by January - February I can see it reaching the 30M mark. It will depend on how many reprints will get in that time + the initial print for vol 19. Lifetime circulation can go beyond the 35M mark honestly.
