CSM is doing better than before it seems, in two days it sold as much as volume 4. MHA ended up 30k behind volume 24 but is only 10k behind volume 23, it probably has hit its plateau. JJK selling almost 100k in two days is super nice and the difference between JJK and BC was bigger than I expected. HQ 41 did miles better than 41, it sold 40k more and with a day less, now we have to see how it does on the long run. This should be another OP volume that struggles a bit to get to 2 million, with volume 94 only crossing 2 million next week (more than 3 months after its release).

Oh thank god it's only 2 days of sales
I was gonna cry for half of Jump's lineup

Haikyu!! Season 4: 25 Episodes

I would love it if they rushed this slightly (7-8 chapters per episode?) and finished Interhigh.

From the episode titles we've gotten it looks like the pacing is the same, Season 4 will most likely end at

Is kimetsu finally slowing down?

[TxxT]

Is kimetsu finally slowing down?

With more reprints coming soon and Volume 19 releasing next month? I'd say no

[yadayada]

The gap between JJK and BC is actually really significant, expected them to be closer. Wonder how high it can get when it gets an anime.

--- Double Post Merged, Jan 10, 2020, Original Post Date: Jan 10, 2020 ---

Also, don't we usually get numbers for new volumes in their first week even if they don't chart? I think that's what happened with the first 2 volumes of S8 but I might be wrong. Maybe I'm confusing it with shoseki's estimations though.

Good for Haikyuu, TPN and chainsaw, great for Jujutsu. BC keeps going down ever so slightly.

Samurai 8 is doing...terribly. Day 6 dropped out of top 100 too..

Bookstores are very creative haha, they used one page from the first chapters to announce that it's out of stock and you can make reservations for it

[Franz]

I don't know why but I have the impression that Black Clover will last a little less than fifteen years ...

The fact that bookstores are taking reservations is kinda crazy tbh lol, they're basically telling you they already know it's going to sell out next week as well. Not that they're wrong, but still.

You quoted the wrong one, I already fixed that earlier.

45 weeks remaining,

the actual battle of the year, in theory any of the future volumes are in the running, highly unlikely for OP (not that it hadn't happened, see 92 vs 93) more proabable for kimetsu at current circumstances,

This probably will not stay but we still shall prepare ourselves for glorious shitstorm if kimetsu to win individual volume sales

[yadayada]

This probably will not stay but we still shall prepare ourselves for glorious shitstorm if kimetsu to win individual volume sales

I'd argue chances are pretty good for Kimetsu. It's still selling out, so the demand hasn't been met yet, and they have reprints incoming. So I'd expect it to at the very least hit 2mln handily in the next few months (from what I can tell from the shoseki daily rankings it'll sell about the same as this week in next week's oricon as well, and the week after that it's getting reprinted).

From then on it only really has to do like 450k more throughout the rest of the year, and with ufotable adapting the train arc with a movie that doesn't seem too unlikely.

Obviously I'm not saying it's guaranteed or anything, just that chances are pretty good. It's hard to predict what'll end up happening with Kimetsu because it's at the point where it is so big that the popularity keeps snowballing through word of mouth and they've been starving the stores for ages to keep it going.
