So basically if i read chapter X of Mitama, and i go read again the entire chapter, it will not count anymore? why they're even doing this? one thing is just clicking and leaving but not even counting actual re-reads is stupid

because if 1/100 people who read it click on an ad, then why would they want to count rereads.

GotW was my favorite chapter from this week.
If it doesn’t survive I’ll get real mad. It still has ways to go but I really love how we were introduced to the story and imo these two chapters were very well made.
Also, I want to see how the author develops the story.

Power is literally the only reason I follow Chainsawman weekly. Denji is pretty good, but him by himself isn't enough to keep my interest. Any chapter with Denji and Power together is usually hilarious. If Fujimoto would ever kill off Power, I'd no longer have a reason to continue reading.

Imagine Zipman ending under 12 chapters after the last batch ended all with 27, that would be really cruel with Shibata

The central problem with Zipman I think is that, beyond being really generic, there's no real foundation. All we get are a quick introduction, a fight with a magical girl, a single chapter of school antics, and then boom, first arc. And all that arcs ends up being is the MC walking into rooms and fighting random villains.

UxU has been the series I’ve surprisingly enjoyed the most since Chainsaw. I’m at the stage I was with Saiyuki and now praying for it’s good reception to catch more attention and a bigger audience.

Zipman would be the first to join U19 after quite some time though. They need some new members to not feel lonely there.

I would like to ask. Only I feel that Mashle is a little too unconnected to his own world?
He doesn't know about the problems of this society, and as far as we know, Mashle never knew or was a victim of prejudice until chapter 1. He doesn't have a connection with anything besides his own father. What to me, makes the scenes that try to talk about the problems of the world bland, since our protagonist doesn't even have enough knowledge to form a idea about it. These scenes seem to talk more with the audience, than with the character

You can see why SJ give the okay to publish Zipman, but you also have to wonder if this was the best thing Shibata could come up after 5 years since Yoakemono, maybe he should have sticked with samurai stuff, if i remember well Sahara the Flower Samurai from GIGA was well received at the time, or at least stick with the original Zippo that really looks much less generic than the serialization.

My top 5 this week are MHA (Horikoshi has got an amazing momentum going) Dr Stone (Such an amazing cliffhanger), Mitama Security (Rena in a ponytail is too cute), Mashle (is it just me or has the art improved?) and Chainsaw Man (I forgot the name of the girl who owns the car, but pity her)

Fujimoto is a giant film buff, so that's probably intentional.
