They announced an adaptation of a korean webtoon by MAPPA which has the rumoured director for JJK's anime. Also making MAPPA even busier.
Airdate should be officially revealed at the TOHO Animation booth at AnimeJapan next month (if it doesn't get cancelled) but it's Fall 2020, if it were to get delayed it would have to be announced and planned a few months prior before the original air date

Well, if they were to give JJK preferential treatment they would let Park handle the adaptation. Park has the upper hand in having the better staff and he is a director with experience with action series. The other highly probable director is Utsumi, who was a director for Free! and Banana Fish. There might be someone else, but the future isn't looking so bright for JJK anime as of now.

If they were to slow down the pace it would be to 1 to 2 chapters an episode (it usually adapts 3 to 2). But they should be putting out a whole season or two of fillers.

A while ago, someone here mentioned that they'd adapt the two light novels.
I mean, all of this characters are pretty different from Mashle, even though that all o them share the traits of not taking the world too serious, the other three are not as foreign to their world and it's problems as Mashle. And they all have a compelling objective, that they work to achieve, Saitama wants to ends his boredom, Mob wants to be a good person, Saiki wants to be normal, things that can't achieve through they super powers alone. Besides that, they being powerful quickly become secondary to others, much more interesting, aspects of the work.
Mashle is an outcast from the magical world and is being forced to change it from within so he and his dad can survive which is a way better set up than the other series (arguably). Definitely relatable and not foreign in the slightest.
This choice of casting will make many mad, but I just hope the actress herself doesn't get harassed.
There are some rumors about Tabata working with the staff for filler arcs, which wouldnt be a surprise since he did work with the staff adding new details for the anime story compared to the manga, if do happen will be cool, Katekyo Hitman Reborn had filler arcs written by Amano and they were really good
If Mashle has a growth even slightly similar to Mob's I would be extremely satisfied. Mob's character arc is really amazing.
ToG is not MAPPA, Telecom is animating ToG, while MAPPA is animating God of Highschool, which just got announced today. As for JJK, there are plenty of rumours that MAPPA is the one handling it, there's no confirmation as of now though.
It means jack shit, to my knowledge.
