Any of you think that the JJK anime would also adapt Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical School?(what a long title) Maybe it could be an OVA or something.

It'll need to do so before the current arc. If they skip it it's honestly going to be too confusing.

For comparison, S8 Vol 3 was 40th, Mitama Vol 1 52.

Direct comparisons based on rankings are worthless due to how relative the rankings themselves are, but welp, not looking very good for mitama. This might be the first axed series I actually cared about in a while.

The "every girl gets a what if" win does feel like a really cheap cop out. In my mind, this in no way changes the fact that the first girl he picked is the canon one in my mind (or he wouldn't have shown it first), but I guess if it keeps people from sending the author death/suicide threats because their favorite fictional character didn't get with the MC, it's fine by me.

I think there was some Seo Kouji manga that had a fanservice spin-off of the MC sleeping with all the other girls, as well. But that's way more distant, I think, having all five endings like that would really leave a bad taste in my mouth, even with the 'if' and 'alternate' language they are using.

UxU first ranking ain't bad, now the sales for first volume will matter though that still takes a while till we get numbers.

I am surprised GotW got extra pages, poor Zipman is the only one got none. Maybe for its last chapter it will get its extra pages?

How about 8 chapters, then? Two chapters for each girl? One chapter is set in the present, while the second is set in the future. Rinse and repeat till all four girls are done.

I think how I feel about the ending depends on how well-done the endings are. On one hand, the fans can be satisfied, but on the other hand, it is kind of a copout. Then again, everyone seems to dislike 5toubun now (which I find weird) because of it's ending, and part of that is definitely salt (among legit complaints), so who knows?

Fun fact, Negi was actually considering doing "What-If" endings himself, furthering the evidence that he and Tsutsui were definitely exchanging notes.

Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious this was the plan for a while. Presumably Tsutsui has planned the winner for a while, and decided to throw the other girls fans a bone.

Wouldn't be surprised if a Kodansha exec saw this and tried to hit Negi up to convince him to do what Tsutsui's doing now so they can sell another volume. xD

EDIT: The most interesting thing will be seeing the reactions to each of the endings, and just the idea in gneeral. I think it'll really help me distinguish how much of the recent negativity is due to how the series got to it's end versus how much of it is pure salt that their favorite girl didn't win or get a satisfying conclusion. I'm especially looking forward to Sensei's IF chapters for this reason.

I think we should note here that we don't really know if the color page is for the route itself, but for introducing all those what-ifs. Having read the spoilers, it's pretty clear the whole main story ends with this Chapter 150, and now Tsutsui will give some fanservice to the rest of the fandom, most likely it being 2 chapters per girl since that would perfectly fill a final volume. This also relates to Volumes 16 and 17 being a joint cover that we all can picture already what it will be, and would make sense to make Volume 18 a final what-if volume including all this extra content.
