Question, do you guys think Mashle will say the comedic parody route or do you think it will become more story driven over time?

Cause this week chapter was awesome

Mashle is very much going Beelzebub or Mob Pyscho's route. Comedy with battle and story elements. I'd say Mob Psycho because Mash as a character is more similar to Mob than he is to any character in beelzebub. And aside from his confidence in his abilities, he's pretty much a naive character - very similar to Mob in a lot of ways.
That said, Mob was also a very innocent and shy character which Mash isn't.

How the mangaka chooses to move forward with Mash's character will need to be seen.

We have been discussing on Discord about what manga will get the full color edition now that Kimetsu is ending.

The chronology has been One Piece - Naruto - Shokugeki - Yuuna - Kimetsu, each of them lasting more or less 2 years

We'll know in 2 weeks for sure. My bet is on Dr.Stone.

As of now, Volume 20 will be filled with three more chapters and Volume 19 releases next month. It's possible that it could go on for at least one more volume, but it's seeming more and more unlikely with each chapter.

There's always the possibility of it going on for 7-8 more chapters then doing a sidestory to fill out the final volume like Ass Class did. There's certainly plenty of other characters it could do a flashback mini-arc about.

Though if it does end in 3-4 chapters, I'm guessing it'll end alone and be replaced by Burn the Witch, then we'll get the next batch of new series after Summer when that presumably ends.

They could fill TPN Volume 20 with the one-shot "Poppy's Wish", which Shirai and Posuka did to test the waters and how well the two can work together before serializing TPN.

Sugita: That was “Poppy’s Wish”. My first impression working together with them was that Mr. Shirai and Ms. Demizu clicked really well. I think it’s the same with Tsugumi Oba and Takeshi Obata of “DEATH NOTE”, but when the writer and illustrator get along there’s a kind of synergy. The artwork gets better, which also influences the story to become more interesting. You have these unexpected effects and that was evident with the team of Mr. Shirai and Ms. Demizu. This non-serialized issue was popular among readers, so I was certain these two were the right team for “Neverland”.

Regarding the manga that are ending, I'm going to keep an extra-eye to Yuuna. This time it really totally feels like we are in the endgame.

Actually, not true. I did think if it flopped bad, it would get cancelled before a year. I just didn't say it because I didn't want to annoy S8 fans.
Especially given how some other users were already annoying S8 fans constantly.

Lolllll. That's true. I remember my answer was 100k or something for that. This would be interesting to see.

I didn't like Samurai 8 much even from the start but I had figured it would do a bit worse than RxL, selling fairly well at first on name and hype alone but dropping each volume and lasting a little into its second year before getting cancelled. I definitely didn't expect it to not even make it to 1 year even with how bad it was.

I'm glad it didn't make it to a year honestly, I didn't care about the series at all by the latter half and if Samurai 8 was still ongoing, that means it'd be taking up a spot that's currently going to another series I like more. Like maybe Agravity Boys would've also joined the U19 club if Samurai 8 hadn't ended yet (or I guess we could've just had one less new series this batch).
