Someone on Reddit compiled a ranking of karma for all the WSJ series. Western popularity only and all, so it doesn’t matter nearly as much as Japan, but I think it can still be a useful measuring tool, especially when compared to the rankings here.

First and last chapters tend to have different karma than usual. I say different instead of more because MASHLE has increasingly gotten popular on there, amazingly. Time will tell if Time Paradox follows suit.

With Kimetsu’s exit, the Jump Reddit crown will be fought between Chainsaw Man and My Hero Academia.

Anyone’s thoughts on Ghostwriter chapter 2? Personally, I enjoyed it a lot. Not as much as the first but a chapter that is setting up for a big encounter next chapter which should be interesting. Also MHA had a fantastic chapter.

MHA: The other shoe dropped. A few concerns here and there, but damn, that chapter was too short. Honestly, I can’t wait for this to be animated, I can see myself getting real emotional if you add music and sound and voice acting.

TPGW: Very good chapter. Plagiarism was immediately addressed, and we get an explanation of the time travel that this series may be operating on.

WNL: Route Two Complete. That was kinda nice. Now unlocking Route Three... hopefully it’s far better than the first two because it has a far better girl with far better chemistry with Yuiga...

I can totally see the Shokugeki duo being the next veterans to come back to Jump. The oneshot looked a lot like preparation for a serialization.

I can totally see the Shokugeki duo being the next veterans to come back to Jump. The oneshot looked a lot like preparation for a serialization.

Unlike last week where I saw a lot of stuff being worthy of the top-3, this week the top-3 is pretty clear for me.

For starters MHA, which is continuing to be very amazing. This week chapter has been pure hype. After MHA, the other remaining places for me go for Chainsawman and Dr.Stone.

I am very wary of those two returning (SnS duo). It would be a different thing if Tosh was the only one who came back.

Ey, Jump is out. Time to dig in.

Well, the oneshot was ... something. It kinda gave some Neuro-ish vibes, but also gave me some nightmare fuel.

Uhhh, Chainsaw was ... sorta random lol, but that's generally how I feel about almost every chapter. Really liked this Stone chapter though.

I thought this week's Moriking was some sort of an uptick from last week. Undead and Mashle were pretty good as well, maybe even as good as last week's.

Black Clover was super short this week.

Anyway, Ghostwriter with another great chapter. I have really high hopes for this series.

All the chapters were pretty good, but CSM and MHA were the real stars for me.

Spoiler: Chainsaw Man

Love how consistently weird and compelling CSM is. The whole section with Cosmo was interesting, but I honestly thought the subtle moment with Kishibe at the end was the best part. He decided to leave the blindfold on, taking Quanxi's advice to remain ignorant to what was happening.

Spoiler: My Hero Academia

The buildup to Shigaraki's awakening in MHA was superb. Very emotional. Seems like Izuku and Shigaraki might clash for the first time?... Although I wouldn't get my hopes up personally.

I caught up to Undead Unluck this week. I'm enjoying the fights and power scheme quite lot. The world of UxU is also super unique and intriguing. Still not crazy about the art style though.

Plan to catch up to Jujutsu next(I'm about 25 chapters behind). I really struggle to maintain caught up with Jujutsu, and I'm not sure quite what it is. Something about it doesn't resonate with me. Weekly chapters always felt like a chore to read. Hopefully next time is different. This will be my 3rd time catching up.

-Neverland is supposedly ending in very very short time
-Guardian of the Witch is going to be axed
-Both Yozakura Family and Mitama seem are entering in their final phase (both of them are giving me the same vibes as when Manneken-pis dissapeared in David)

We can have 4 manga ending in next weeks, so I'm curious to see how will the next batch be. Also, I can start seeing Yuuna-san surviving a longer time thanks to that.

PD: No manga are getting the color digital version this week. Maybe next week?

I really liked that one shot, could totally see that becoming a hit series. Time Paradox had a good second chapter, looking forward to seeing their conversation next week. I’m getting really close to dropping Bone Collection, it isn’t doing anything at all for me.

I just don't know how Bone Collection got serialized. I know that it's only 3 chapters, and we got a little of world building this week, but for me this series only future is to join the U19 club.

But let's talk about the golden rookie... TPG follow up didn't disappointed. Really good chapter. Truly excited to what comes next.

MHA chap 272 was incredible, got the chills
and I found the one shot Yugen entertaining, WSJ lacks horror theme,
if it's well received it might be serialised..

TPGW was great again this week, it really feels like the stars are aligning for this series, with it getting so much publicity from debuting on Kimetsu's final chapter. Hope it continues to grow and eventually become a much-needed pillar of Jump.

The lack of Kimetsu this week makes me a bit depressed, oh well. We move.

MHA has been getting exciting lately. But regarding the concerns, I'm quite worried about the power-scaling and whether Hori can pull it off or if it'll go bad. Imo for the last few chapters the power-levels have been treading on thin ice with Shiggy and all and I'm cautiously curious to see how it goes. And though minor, I also still find Bakugo as a character jarring at the start of the chapter, I don't think I'll ever like him at this point lol.

Ghostwriter had another good chapter but still iffy about the plagiarism aspect. Time travel element was fresh and interesting tho and exciting to find out more about the female protagonist!

MHA chapter this week was amazing but curious where it will go after this arc. I feel an avengers infinity war direction coming.

First issue with no KNY felt small, if the Neverland ending is soon then WSJ gonna have a really different feeling to it in the near future.

It is overshadowed by TPGW (mainly because being a gag), but Moriking is continuing to be good. I'm loving mantis-chan

Yuugen was surprisingly wholesome, Saeki's art is still good and the whole set up is nice. I just wish Yuugen wasn't a creep sometimes, but this has a lot of serialization potential, the spread and the last page were specially striking. Agravity had my favourite chapter of the series so far, though that doesn't say lot lol definitely enjoyed it anyway. The Promised Neverland really went into a really confusing and unpleasant route, I hope this is just a fake out and Shirai twists it but as it is right now I'm not into it at all. My Hero Academia had a fantastic build up, this kinda reminds me of the Light of the Seven's sequence in GoT and I really hope they do it justice in the anime. Hayashi's score will do wonders and if they get the right animators this will be incredible.

Yozakura was alright this week, feels like it could be going into an endgame arc with all the information about their parents but it could just be another serious arc

Mitama was good, it really does feel like it might be the end though. Very serious.

Agravity was great, one of my favorite chapters so far, and it had a sweet ending too.

Undead was good, not entirely sure how I feel about the current developments but I am really enjoying the series

Mashle was good. Was kinda hoping for a lighter chapter after this arc but it looks like were going right into another fight. At least that's the vibe I got. The doll stuff was creepy.

Guardian was almost good, I liked the stuff with Claude. However fafner must be made of steel or something

Moriking was great, looks like we have HZ's replacement. Nice chapter and got some laughs

Bone Collection was alright, still undecided on how I feel

Ghost Writer was good, great cliffhanger for next week

MHA, Dr Stone, HQ, CSM, and JJK were all great this week. TPN is absolutely ending soon. Not a big fan of how the development was handled this chapter, I really expected at least something, but I suppose not. This past arc has really dropped the ball for me, much, much, more than the previous arcs. It's almost comical. Rizu route was alright, probably more focus on Sawako than I would've wanted, but her parts were still good. This chapter was good enough to satisfy me but I am a little worried about the other routes. I haven't read Yuuna yet but seeing how this arc is going it might really be the end.
