I don't remember the type of the first reprint (maybe it was 一一, which would be better), but in this case, the reprints are just being stocked until bookstores run out of them and they are requested. It doesn't necessarily mean they are going for sale at some point. It's even called "weak reprint".

Weak? Damn. Now that's insult added to injury. Still better to have a weak reprint than none at all, right? It means they at least assume there could be demand for it.

Shibata doing a DQ manga would be cool if they paired him with a writer.
Shame it's not in Weekly Jump though. I'd love a new weekly series in that universe. Still holding out for a Dragon Quest Monsters series in Jump (if the new game ever gets out of development hell).

Isn't Beet the Vandel Buster still ongoing currently though? It returned from hiatus to finish an arc, went on break, then came back for the next arc.

yup, but he's only the writer for that, he can work on multiple projects at once and he have a very successful career in TV

also he have worked with other artists than Inada before

currently he's working with Masaki Satou on Fuuto Tantei

and worked with Shiibashi on a oneshot which they could go back to now that Kamio Yui is gone

Yusaku Shibata (Zipman) will do the writing and art for a Avan manga spinoff of Dai no Daibouken. To launch on V Jump.

Good for him, good. I love Shibata's art and I'm glad he will be around the industry for a while, hope he comes back with a hit sometime in the future.

Yeah, weak because their point is not going straight for sale. As I said, they're playing safe. They don't want to go throught the trouble of having volumes returned to them, however it means there is a certain amount being sold at stores, just not so much that they need a sum sent straight to stores.

Lol yeah the new anime for Engi was super rushed. The 2nd half was way better than the first half at least, but I wish it was a proper adaption

Why would Neverland get a new arc when it's been long confirmed to be in its final arc? It is even getting an LCP for the climax of its final arc.

I don't follow TPN but they literally can just do a 10 chapter quick epilogue arc for one more volume, if required.
Then you'll probably see a LCP for the climax of the climax arc of the final arc.

It seems just credits him for original work (as this is a spinoff)? Because below it says 漫画は『ZIPMAN!!」の芝田優作先生が担当! aka The manga is in charge of Yusaku Shibata-sensei of Zipman, which they wouldnt say if he was only doing art.

I admit I will become really salty about Neverland getting its 6th climax cover over Act-age anime. And how One Piece is getting a cover for no reason next week over Act-age anime too.

Top 5 should be Makima, Power, Reze, Denji and probably Beam or Pochita, with Makima coming out on top. The rest is hard to know since Chainsaw Man's cast isn't as prominent, but Hayakawa and Kobeni will probably be in the top 10.​
