The difference in the first week is usually made up by 2nd or 3rd week (latest). So if you look at the 2nd week of Volumes 9, 10, 11, you can see that they are very similar in what they sold, though the number of days do vary.
But given the trend, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a drop.
3 days is a big enough gap that second week alone shouldn't be able to make up for it in case of stable sales. In fact (not the most accurate method, I'm aware, but bear with me as there is no real alternative), using shoseki estimations for week 3 and week 4 of volume 10&11, volume 11 is down around 10k.

About titles, I really liked some from KnY:
-The useless Komainu
-Maggot-Dimwit-Coward among Dunces
-A nightmare seen on a Blood Moon Night
-The sun comes up and the light shines forth
-The incredible younger generation (ironic title for its content :'(.

Bleach is revered for it's chapter titles, so I pose a question for everyone;

Which Bleach chapter title is your personal favorite? Also, which other WSJ series do you feel has memorable chapter titles?
Kubo really delivered some memorable chapter titles - a nice balance of his usual poetry, pop culture references, and the occasional grammatical misstep.

Some standouts:
  1. goodbye, halcyon days.
  2. Hear.Fear.Here
  3. Quincy Archer Hates You
  4. TWO MEN ARE BURNING
  5. Not Perfect is GOoD
  6. Beginning of the Death of Tomorrow
  7. THE THEATRE SUICIDE
  8. Marching out the ZOMBIES
  9. The Slashing Opera
  10. King of the Kill
His poems for the characters on each volume are even better:
  • "If I were rain, That joins sky and earth, that otherwise never touch, Could I join two hearts as well?" — Inoue Orihime (Volume 3)
  • "Do not live bowing down, die standing up" — Yamamoto (Volume 45)
  • "All people, imitations of apes. All gods, imitations of people" — Sosuke Aizen (Volume 48)
  • "Fire, dripping from my fangs, does not disappear, But keeps the battlefield burning, Bringing the true face of a friend to light." — Renji Abarai (Volume 73)

Almost sure that i will just go back to the 1 point in the traditional and keep the 9, 8, 7, 5 and 3 in the comments, it works better and is much better balanced.

My goal is to make it possible that the biggest number of series can be appreciated and voted by it fans (with balance ofc), top 3 simply doesnt work with only 45 ~ 55 voters, it would just go back to "Tied" hell and turn into the "top 5 club" with the same series receiving all votes every week and the other half rotting, this would be boring af, top 5 allows to be much more diverse and adding extra points based in the positions makes it more fun and also prevents from the tied problem, also think about the ranking more like points instead votes per se, you as a person have X points and divides at your wish between your 5 favorite chapters of the week.
No one is saying they want back to Top3 we just think that 42 votes per person is too much. And I don't think reducing it to 37 will help that much either. Less votes means our votes have more value. Like why does first place need 9 points plus 1 extra point due Top5 traditional? That is 6 votes difference to last place if last place also got an extra point which is not likely as I believe people tend to give their Top3 rather an extra point and use the other two one point votes to hand them over to "place 6 and 7" of what they liked to read this week. Add that to ten people voting like this and it is a 60 point difference which is why now we got 300+s votes in the top and less than twenty in last place. In past Toc the difference between first and last place was 4, 2 votes difference stack the more people vote similar which we have here happening, like in this case 10 people voting the same first and last place would mean 40 point difference thus making 2nd, 3rd and 4th placement of the same two series in other people's ranking far more worthy to be gathered. The lesser the difference can be between 1st and 5th (6 vote difference vs 4) the more you will see changes in the rankings. There should obviously be a difference but not one that is too large to bridge.

Im sorry but Gintama is definetely the best when it comes to its chapters titles.

Oh definitely, the man spoke many truths with his titles.

Case in point, MHA's suspicious disappearing act next issue.

Could we maybe just have two different sets of results, one for the poll votes and one for the comment votes?

Personally I just want to see what kind of results we'd get if MH did a survey like WSJ with a simple 1 vote = 1 point. Ties and similar results each week are fine, it's accurate to what the most people liked.

I'm not interested in the comment results since a series with 200 points could potentially be a much less widely popular chapter than one with 100 points.

I think a big part of Gintama's appeal is the insanely honest and relatable chapter titles. It and Bleach are the only ones with really memorable chapter titles, although Bleach's tends to fall on the meme-ish side for us English speakers. Like a previous poster said, the poems for each character are really neat.

Is there a particular reason why Muhyo & Roji has a s2?

I remember hearing that the first one happened since it was promoting a new sequel manga, but from what I gather that was just a short thing and s1 didn't seem to be especially popular.

I'm happy to get more to watch, but it's odd having this somewhat forgotten series from over a decade ago somehow getting a s2 when so many shows don't.

I don't really remember most chapter titles for anything I read that isn't X-character vs Y-character, but for some reason Baby, Hold Your Hand is the only chapter title from anything that ever stuck with me. I really like the ring of it for some reason. It had a very romantic sound to it, so that might be why--even though that whole storyline was more about familial love. Other than that, even though I never got around to reading it, I always found Gintama's chapter titles amusing, though, even those I don't remember lol.

not every anime has to promote something, somethmes they just really like the property.

Anime exists to sells merchandise, the promotion of manga is often somewhat lateral. So, I guess they think a new season will sell merchandise and be profitable.

It isn't just that they like the franchise. They usually think a new anime for old property will sell merchandise.

wheres my KHR anime to see all these new t-shirts, mugs, posters.

I dont know if the merchandise thing is really it (in all cases), seems expensive to make an anime just to sell stickers, can badges, can mirrors, clear files, and limited t-shirts. Are pop-up cafes that profitable either? While some properties seemed to sell out some didn't seem that busy. (also FMA had one recently, wheres our new FMA anime?!)

Usually you get a new anime if there's new stuff to sell, but I haven't heard of a special new printing or anything and Muhyo's hardly a huge or important classic. Season 1 happened to promote the sequel so it strikes me as odd to make a s2 despite that being long over.

I know funi dubbed it, so it makes me wonder if it's a Food Wars situation where overseas licensing and such were profitable enough to justify an extra season, or if maybe it's some high up staff's favourite manga or something. Or perhaps it actually did really well in Japan, I don't know which makes me curious.

Something I've been thinking about, especially with this news of Haikuyuu's end being so soon, is what the fuck is going to get all the covers now. Between KnY, TPN and Haikyuu ending, which in 2019 all got 4 covers, so in total a quarter of the total covers in a year, with them gone, that leaves a huge gap. My best guess is that Jujutsu at least joins the ranks of the regular cover recievers, and I supposed hopefully Act-age. I wonder if because of this series like Mashle will become consistent cover getters sooner than Jujutsu, Chainsaw and Act-age did.

The most perplexing anime case in my opinion is why a new Dragon Ball anime hasn't been announced yet.

Especially when the series is literally at an all-time peak in popularity, with the last DB movie being not just the highest grossing DB movie, but the highest grossing Toei movie (IIRC) ever.

We know they're making a new movie, but you'd think there wouldn't be so much radio silence from them.

Also I was looking back through old ToCs to see Muhyo's placements, it seems to have been one of those series that jumped about a bit, often near the bottom but often near the top too.

Something else I noticed however is there was 3 different series from 2005 that made it past a year before being cancelled (Mieru Hito, Takaya, Taizo Moteo Saga). It makes me want to go back at some point and list all the different 2nd year cancellations.

I always feel like those are the most unfortunate series. U19 club member mostly would never had a chance to be hits, but a series that makes it past its 1 year anniversary before getting cancelled is one that very well could've been a hit but messed up somehow.

Actually Funimation hasn't dubbed Muhyo yet.

So I don't think it's overseas stuff
