Direct parody is not plagiarism.
It is actually the most acceptable form of fair use.
And with the way J K Rowling behave recently, I doubt anyone would want to be on her side if she want to sue mashle.

It's fun seeing Mashle, Yozakura, and Undead in the top 5 even if the latter two are probably there due to no OP or MHA. It's nice to see some new series stand out at least a little, it'll be cool to see if those 3 and Moriking get a more prominent spot on the next group cover.

Also predictable spot for Ghost Writer, I expect it'll drop further the next few weeks then ch 7 & 8's placements will be the important ones that determine if it can bounce back or not. Also curious about Bone Collection, I'm not surprised to see it right at the bottom but it does make me wonder what was with ch 8 and 9 being so high up considering it's bottom 3 right after.

Spring Weapon creator sure, that series lasted for more than a year. That gave him lots of time to figure out what worked and what didn't, so it's reasonable to expect his next one to do well.

Poro creator though I still get the impression Yozakura is lucky above all else, it does get some high rankings but mostly hangs around the bottom, I feel like it probably would've been cancelled by now if it was a normal year and we didn't have 11 series less than a year old.

Tokyo is having an increase of cases. In less than a week, they had almost 500+ cases confirmed. I wouldn't be surprised if they order a lockdown again, but at least for Tokyo that's the only city being affected.

One thing I'm wondering about is if maybe Chainsawman's high placement this issue is specifically to have more established recognisable series in the top half.

It's not really a series that goes to the top, but if it was in its usual spot down with Act-age and Black Clover, the first half of the magazine would be mostly new series, 3 of which only started in the last couple weeks. When people pick up jump they probably expect to see stuff the know right at the start.

Haikyuu will end, I would like to see the protagonists of the other series on the cover of the jump wearing the uniforms of Haikyuu's teams.
Example:
Luffy in the karasuno uniform.
Asta in Nekoma uniform.
