This week's top 5:
1.
Mitama Security - Hilarious chapter. Youtuber Rena Haze would easily win my subscription!
2.
Mashle - Fantastic battle chapter. Lance is a pretty great character when he's not doing his siscon shtick.
3.
Magu-chan: God of Destruction - Hilarious chapter for sure. There's not a single character I'm not loving. The worthless deity was an amazing addition, especially with his legion of hermit crabs.
4.
Moriking - Really good chapter. There were some surprisingly deep comments made throughout the chapter, and the humor was top-notch.
5.
Undead Unluck - Another solid chapter. This one seemed largely transitional, but it laid out some nice detail that'll really help out the following chapters.
The best of the rest:
6.
Chainsaw Man - Very powerful chapter. So much anguish and agony, but it's so well done. I may actually cry at the end of this arc.
7.
Act-Age - Good chapter. Great to see some personal growth going on for our leading ladies.
8.
Mission: Yozakura Family - Pretty good chapter. I'm more interested to see the follow-up to this development next issue. Needed some Mutsumi.
9.
Ayakashi Triangle - Decent chapter. I want to see more cool ayakashi designs though.
10.
We Never Learn - The chapter was alright, but nothing special to me. Not as good as Uruka route, but better than Rizu's. It just feels like nothing new really happened through this whole route, just a rehash and retelling of things that already happened.
11.
Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin - Every chapter has felt pretty weird, like it tries to expand the world or deepen the plot on the last page of every chapter, and then doesn't really touch upon it the next one. This whole series is kind of strange to me.
12.
Me & Roboco - This was a little better than the previous chapters, but I'm still not enjoying it that much. I do appreciate the Act-Age promotion though.
13.
Time Paradox Ghostwriter - Didn't like this chapter at all. Not loving any of these developments, nor this "ideal manga" philosophy of having no personality. It wouldn't break my heart if this got axed.
14.
Bone Collection - This seems to be barreling towards the ax at full speed. This chapter was super fast-paced and seemed like several jammed into one.
15.
Agravity Boys - I can't believe this arc is going to have at least one more chapter. So stupid and pointless.
TGPW is getting axed. Also the author has pretty weird beliefs. A Manga with no personality is what it takes for it to be the most entertaining thing in the world? What kind of logic is that? Is he trying to take shots at some of the current popular titles?
That's one of my biggest problems with the series too. You want a series to be accessible, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't have a personality. Take Cross Account for example. It had great art, but it was just so cliche and generic that it sank in the rankings and ultimately got axed. A series needs to have some sort of personality to it to give it some life and makes it compelling to read
