Requoting for new page so it doesn't get lost in middle of what's happening. I think reason will be gathering more material for the volume, dunno. But after this, I don't see One Piece endind 2nd place of top-sales manga this year. Kingdom has a great advantage now.

Ok, was just wondering what it was because it looked weird that it was a reddit image and not a twitter post. Seems to be a bad fake though if they weren't even able to get the Jump issue right.

Also, now that I take a closer look at it, it's basically just photoshopped and pieced together.

I hope the victims are doing fine and the author get the punishment he deserves.
This is very unfortunate for the manga fans, since the story most likely won't have an ending and will never be seen the same again.
But for Usasaki this must be truly devastating and I wonder how much hate she's receiving from the unsuspecting jerks on social media. (It's not uncommon the social media punishers blame the wrong person).
So I think she'll stay away from social media for a while, but if you can send some support for her on Twitter (without mentioning the author, please)

Im glad the guy got arrested, but shit, who could have seen this coming?
I feel bad for the victims, manga fans, his assistants and Usasaki, Act-Age dont have the same clout rurouni had and the accusation is much heavier
Act-Age should probably be put into permanent hiatus, but the damage will be extense for Jump, the live action was probably being produced, maybe an anime was scheduled, their image will be tarnished if they dont give it a proper response either.

I really hope this doesn't affect Usazaki's future, she's a great artist and still very young.

I'm curious if this will affect the upcoming batch though, Bone and Mitama are the kinds of series that could easily add on extra episodic content at the last minute but Mitama's already finished in tomorrow's issue, and Bone's final chapter will no doubt also be already complete too. But Ghost Writer's probably the third one and it's very plot-centric, it's not the kind of series that could just change the last page and continue on for another 10+ weeks.

My guess they'll just have an open spot for a while filled by oneshots.

What insane news to wake up to. When I went to sleep, everyone was posting about new chapters of Act-Age being added to the English vault. Now, a tragic scandal has been unearthed. My heart goes out to the victims and Act-Age's artist. If they formally cancel the series, it'd be a real shame if they don't quickly find another stint for her somewhere. She's just so talented to have her work cut down in its prime for something completely out of her control.

I can only hope he didn't try something like this with the female artist.

Certainly the loss of Act-age comes at a time of great change for the Jump. Losing a series that represented the future of the magazine along with CSM and JJK for a similar scandal, is a big blow.

Now I guess they will push CSM more and maybe anticipate the anime announcement.

Mashle too I think he will be pushed harder and I think they will give more confidence to series like UxU and Yozakura.

Plus, from what I could find, the Japanese court system has a conviction rate of 99% because they try to resolve everything before the case even goes to court.

If they axe AA, when ? Because I honestly can't imagine AA getting stopped in the next couple of weeks.
