Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

The things that Hori will have to show us are the end of the school and what it entails, the final battle between Izuku and Shigaraki and last remaining Quirks of the OFA and their owners.

I would say that 100-150 chapters are enough considering that it has always been a series with very fast rhythms.

Ya'll need to stop falling for Shark's baits.

Every genre is filled with "some" that are good. You don't read the ones that are not good because they don't get popular or are cancelled.
Poor logic and reasoning.

There are tons and tons of bad manga out there in every genre.

Heck, doesn't Burn The Witch fall under isekai with it's Reverse London concept?
That's cap my friend, every genre "some"??. Are you aware of the isekai genre?. Anime wouldnt live anymore with that poor view. Isekai is just a bland copy paste industry. A wish fullfiment and thats an fact. Keep that genre in kodawa where it belongs,

Ironic enough burn the witch is an isekai since as proof that ninny jumped into "another world"

My Hero Academia doesn’t feel near the end yet. Without spoiling, there’s still a lot more that Deku needs to accomplish first. There’s no way he’ll do all of that in this arc, or within the next few arcs.

I think MHA can hit 400, but no way it hits 500

Didn't Horikoshi say that he originally wanted to end MHA with 30 volumes but decided not to?

To be fair, most of his post have seemed genuine lately. Either that, or he’s gotten much better at subtly baiting.

Yes, for this reason many think that it will easily reach 400 chapters.

I think that Jujutsu Kaisen can have the same kind of pace than Bleach, with this long long loong arcs. I have this feeling since the middle of the Shibuya Station arc and all the successive fights. If the next arc is like that too, I can see JJK with 40+ volumes at least.

JJK is paced similar to Bleach with how long it focuses on one battle at a time (especially in this arc) but it's still limited by establishing such a small world/scope early on. It was very rushed in its initial arcs before shifting focus and slowing down a lot, but even now it feels like it can't go much further than its initial set-up with Sakuna and his cursed fingers.

MHA honestly feels like a naruto/bleach length manga to me. I mean in a world like MHA there are a ton of story’s you can make. I think that after this arc it will pull a shippuden time skip and just go on from there. I can see it going for 400 chapters if it loses popularity but other than that I see 600 chapters at least.

I think My Hero Academia has easily the most potential to reach the 400 chapters mark (unless sales start crashing lol). It has finally reached the peak of the Rise of the Villains Saga and that should be midway through, plus there's a lot more to be uncovered. Tabata wants to go on for a long time but with sales either hitting a plateau or decreasing (not to mention certain rumours about the anime), I don't see Black Clover going on for that long, maybe 350 chapters? It's the most uncertain one out of the entire veteran roster.

Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen are both series that feel like they won't run for more than 250 chapters, I wouldn't even be surprised if Chainsaw Man ended around chapter 100. Dr. Stone should be around 250 chapters or maybe 300 at most. Undead and Unluck, albeit full of creativity, doesn't like it can last for an extended period, maybe 150-200 chapters. Same for Mashle. I can see Yozakura lasting until the 100th chapter. The rest are mostly gags/comedies and those are as unpredictable as they come and We Never Learn which we already know it's going to end soon.

I mean you can say the same about Harem or Ecchi and look where we are.
What kind of rumors about the Black Clover anime?

as long as the Jujutsu endgame will be Sukuna's fingers, it will hardly be able to last long, since there are only five missing.

I think it was about it ending. It is still a rumour tho
Yeah, I've seen many sources talk about it but I'm still taking it with a grain of salt. There should be some kind of confirmation to this in the next couple of months.

Black Clover has always been production hell, though. Even if it's in a better state due to fillers, it would go back to the usual after it returned to adapting the manga. Plus, the fillers aren't to ease production, but because the anime was way too close to the source material. And there's always the impact of the pandemic, of course.

Yeh but the bad ones take over easily 99% , so it's hard giving a F.
So is the same with all other forms of media?
99% of all literature, film, music, game are undoubtedly shit.
Better give all of them Fs too.

I don't understand how anyone who read MHA can think that the current arc is hinting towards some sort of endgame. Its not. Lmao. There is still so much to cover. And judging by the small narration at the start of this arc I'm speculating that there might be another time skip when this ends and the new kids will have to try and rebuild a ruined lawless society with villians on a rampage or something IDK. But im basically trying to say that there is a lot horikoshi can do now. It an easily surpass 400 chapters. I know its called My Hero Academia but it doesn't necessarily have to end in highschool. There are most likely stories planned for after school. After all this is a story about who Izuku becomes the worlds greatest hero. I think we will have to see what he accomplishes as a professional for that to make sense lol. I remember Horikoshi mentioning something about a sequel in an interview many years ago. But maybe that was a dream? I'll have to find out.

Yeah I have felt the exact same way but maybe the important secret about Yuji's parents which hasn't gotten revealed yet since it was brought up in chapter 1 might be some huge twist which will enable the mangaka to extend the story.
