Sukana and Makima sure are fun and interesting.
But Shiggy, lmao. He has personality of a wet blanket.
Tbf for Hori, Marvel comics, which he is so fond of, also have shitty paper cut out villains for most of the time.

I wouldn't quite put JJK at the same level as the other two, but My Hero Academia and Chainsaw Man are currently at the best they've both been because they have excellent villains. It's obviously not the only sign of quality but it's a good bonus that most other WSJ aren't really achieving.

Not every villain has to be super unique and and deep to be great villains.

Frieza is one of the most iconic manga villains of all time. He’s not deeps or complex at all. Just a really evil guy, who’s evil “just cause”. He has a cool design, and the fights with him are awesome.

Same reason Shiggy is a great villain. He’s just a cool villain; and the added fact that we watched him slowly get stronger across the series. You can have the depth villains like Makima. But there’s a place for villains like Shiggy too

I hope it gets considerable growth this time. At least 20k first week would be nice though given it was released yesterday that means they have like a 4-3 day sale week? (Is sunday counted as a sale day?) Not sure if that is enough to sell enough in time for the growth to be obviously noticeable.

It's 3 days, friday-saturday-sunday. Dunno about 20k tbh, not impossible but we'll have to see, tsugi boost is doing pretty damn good for it though. We'll see how it does on shoseki.

That would be 7k each day to get over 20 for "first week" though it should be called half week with only 3 days to sell. Guess next week is when we can estimate the real growth the first price and Tv show mention might have given it.

Already with the gag complaints in the replies, even though this batch of four is three more series series and one gag. Sometimes it feels like certain crowds won't be happy unless there are zero gags in Jump.

Why would people have been concerned when Crunchyroll announced it in august and even subbed the trailer then.
