I quite liked High School Family, it has a different feel to it than the other recent gag manga have and the premise is fun too.

Phantom Seer on the other hand was a whole bunch of nothing, there's even less to this series than the clones we had in the past two years. I don't really get why they're even running this? Surely there's a better use of this guy's art than "Higuma but even more bland"?

Higuma was not bad, in the first chapters it is good to be the monster of the week.
You can't start a serious arc in the second chapter. It has that scale of power.

Really enjoyed Phantom Seer’s second chapter.

Great Cliffhanger for MHA, as well as Chainsaw Man. Sucks that MHA is on break next week. Either way, both series are on fire

Ayakashi Triangle was Spicy this week

Wish Yozakura Family was doing arcs like this earlier on. Not that it’s phenomenal, but feels more focused and seems like there’s a clear direction

-I've liked High School Family more than Roboco or Agravity Boys chapters 1
-A certain panel of this My Hero Academia chapter is going to become a very popular panel in the future. Another epic chapter here
-Honomieru Shonen chapter 2 has had some quotes that you can easily find in axed manga like Higuma. But the reception of chapter 1 seems has been good in Japan. I'll continue waiting for more chapters
-This Chainsawman chapter has been so chaos that dunno, it hasn't stroke me like the other chapters
-Jujutsu has the chapter of the week for me. It has totally destroyed me inside
-Burn the Witch is starting to feel eh for me

CSM really destroys the rest of the manga in the magazine when it comes pure entertainment right now. Going from CSM to black clover and Mha wasn't a good idea this week.

I don't feel that Agravity boys are going to be canceled.
I see it survive to 40 or 50 chapters.

I think yozakura family will return to the comedy chapters next week.

Mashle in each chapter is going to the side of classic battle shonen, the comedy is still present but it is getting 40% comedy and 60% battle.

I mean... a series can just improve over time, ya know? A series can go from bad to good.

It was decent to me and others from the very beginning. It really came into its own thing around 10 chapters in though.

Chainsawman, BLack Clover, Yozakura, and HeroAca all feel as if they are IN or approaching their EndGames, though BLack Clover had more but I think it is doing the arc I thought would come after this arc, already hm, though Tabata always subverts expectations so I will be pleasantly surprised by five more years of content.

Yozakura was fine this week, not really big on the developments but the chapter for the most part was fine

Agravity was alright this week, didn't really laugh too much but t was a sweet chapter

Undead was pretty good, I wasn't too fond of Chikara before this chapter but I do like him a bit more now. Excited for the next chapter

Mashle was fine, I really liked the parallels with the last panel but it's been my least favorite fight so far and I have mixed feelings on a certain development

Moriking was alright, another pretty standard chapter for it

Ayakashi was alright, the ecchi was in full force this chapter. Still hoping for a more focused plot

Magu was great, Naputaaku is becoming one of my favorite characters

Dolphin was alright, action was nice

Roboco was alright, either the gag this chapter lands or it doesn't

BtW was pretty good, I liked the action, but I really wonder how it'll wrap up in just one chapter. Feels like something Kubo could come back to if he ever wants another miniseries

Seer was pretty good too, I like the characterization and art, and weirdly enough the gags were pretty funny. Still too early to judge but it's growing on me

High School Family however was just okay, it had some decent gags but I already feel tired of some of these jokes

OP, MHA, Dr Stone, CSM, JJK and WnL were all great this week. Ashumi route continues to be the best route so far, and I'm still reeling from that JJK chapter. CSM was crazy, I have no idea what to expect.

The high school family series is going to be so funny and goofy, lol, always love the family *unawarily* embarassing their kid.

I liked the 2nd chapter of phantom seer. Just because something isn’t the most original thing ever made it doesn’t mean it is bad. I mean mashle is very similar to OPM yet it is one of my favorite manga in the magazine. I do hope that phatom seer will have less comedy and focus more on it’s horror elements which is the biggest strength of the manga imo. CSM newest chapter does make me feel it will go on for a bit longer, probably around 125-130 chapters. This manga is really going devilman/fire punch on us though which is what I really like about it. JJK chapter is really making it hard to know when it’s ending to. It seems to be in it’s most serious and violent arc making it seem like it will be demon slayer length at most. Even then I wouldn’t be surprised if it was as long as TPN. Finally the new series was painfully unfunny to me. Not a single joke made me chuckle. Definitely expected more from this considering the author who made it.

This week's top 5:
1. Magu-chan: God of Destruction - This series is absolutely hilarious. Magu-chan and Naptaku are both superb characters, such funny little trolls. If only 1 gag/SOL comedy can survive, it should be this one.
2. Mission: Yozakura Family - I can't believe it, but I'm really starting to find the oldest brother to be tolerable. This was a really interesting chapter.
3. We Never Learn - The romance in this arc feels incredibly natural and not forced whatsoever. This arc has been very pleasing thus far.
4. Undead Unluck - The ending caught me off-guard a bit, but it was definitely a touching chapter. Glad that the story is still moving along, and really interested for next week.
5. Moriking - Another pretty funny chapter. While it was funny, I think the more recent chapters need to bring Shoko back to having a main role in the chapters. Her reactions are the best.

The best of the rest:
6. Mashle - Decent battle scene, but I wish more of these villains were a bit less one-note. Almost every member of this group seems to basically be a totally deranged lunatic who thinks they're unstoppable.
7. Ayakashi Triangle - Finally some solid fanservice. Other than that, it was an alright chapter. I feel like the cast still hasn't really gelled together yet for me.
8. High School Family: Kokosei Kazoku - I don't know how this is going to work as a series, but the start was alright. Still a really weird premise, plus the cat and father look frightening.
9. Me & Roboco - Not as funny as the last few chapters, but Madoka egging on Roboco made me laugh a bit.
10. Agravity Boys - Didn't really find anything about this chapter funny and there was a ton of rambling, but at least the otter was cute. Where are the Jumbros and HDB?
11. Burn the Witch - Nothing all that interesting going on here. Not sure why it isn't working for me, but I'm a bit bummed since I really liked the oneshot.
12. Chainsaw Man - Not loving these developments.
13. Honomieru Shonen - The story and battle both feel pretty bland. The chapter felt oddly paced too. The color page was well-done though.
14. Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin - The sense of humor and characters just don't seem to work for me.

Phantom Seer is comfy. It has a similar atmosphere to non Jump titles like Noragami or Ga-Rei. I’m fine with the slice of life phantom hunting for the first volume if we keep getting fun interactions between our two heroes.

I think that when you have 10 comedy manga started in the same year, it's kind of complicated that you find some jokes funny or don't feel like you've seen that before.

Phantom Seer feels... very standard so far. The ending of this chapter, specially, feels very much like the obvious way of developing the story, and it was shown in the same obvious way. That being said, I think it's well-made enough. It was a decent episodic story with some cool moments. I don't know, it's just nice so far, even if it's far from being something special.

High School Family didn't... annoy me or anything, but it also wasn't exactly funny. If it keeps like that, it's going to be very forgettable in the line-up.

Taking up the discussion of how much the end of certain manga is missing, I would like to remind you that 10-20 volumes at the end are more than enough to narrate or finish a story, if the author takes the right time. Just think of the recent case of Kimetsu, or even Dragon Ball.

Let's realize that in 10 volumes we went from Goku fighting Tenshinan to Goku fighting Vegeta.

But also My Hero, that is, try to think about how many things happen in the first 10 volumes of My Hero ...

So I would say that the current state is not absurd to think that 2-3 years is a short time to finish some of the top manga in the magazine.
