I wonder if in whatever big Jump crossover fighting game we get next if they’ll give Tanjiro a huge spot on the box with Goku, Luffy and Naruto(and maybe Ichigo if they don’t decide the be petty next time).
Demon Slayer is definitely one of Jump’s biggest selling action/adventure series now, maybe even right behind them.

Based on the success Jump Force has had (enough to merit a season 2 of dlc) I believe they are going to focus on global popularity going forward.

Demon Slayer is a titan in Japan and is obviously way more popular than Naruto ever was there. However, due to the series fast explosion in popularity in Japan, sales elsewhere have not been able to keep up in relative terms. For example, My Hero Academia is still more popular than Demon Slayer in Europe / US.

Also, the speed of growth in sales has made it difficult to understand what Demon Slayer’s legacy is. I honestly can’t see the series being put up with Naruto, One Piece and Dragon Ball who have long established legacies as titans in their own respective ways. For example, what Naruto loses out for in per volume sales, it makes up for in global influence once being seen as “the next Dragon Ball”.

While true, I feel like if that was their mentality Luffy wouldn’t be the be center stage and Ichigo would have had higher billing and made the Jump Force cover.

Then we must count that the film came out in a favorable period, with volumes and recovery still in progress.

We have to see if next year everything will be the same.

At the earliest, Season 2 will be in Summer of 2021, which means will be half a year after last volume is released and the movie pulled out of theaters, by that time who (potential manga reader) will not have the entire series already bought? Unless people start to just buying it again for the sake of it lol

There will be no new volumes for next year except for 23.

It is not certain that the massive recovery will continue like this year

Not 100% confirmed but Cover seems is Black Clover

According to some leaks, LCP and Cover wouldn't be for the same manga (Cover for Black Clover, LCP for Chainsawman). Still not confirmed, we should be getting more info in next hours. If true, it would be the first time since 2014 Cover and LCP don't go for the same manga.
