Mashle is goat! Finally ranks top 50 oricon and 17 at that. Hanae did bits with his voice acting, that had to give it a boost

It's nice to finally have a proper sales number for Yozakura and Mashle (or has Mashle appeared on Oricon before?), now to hope Kimetsu and Jujutsu don't fill the top 50 again so we can see Undead's next vol too.

My goodness, Mashle. Truly the next thing to keep an eye out for.

CSM/JJK/Mashle are the ones that have shown great growth.
Will need to see 2nd and 3rd weeks for MHA and BC to see if this first week was just front loaded and if by 3rd week, they go back to usual numbers.

Yozakura charting on Oricon is great. But it's also a poster child to show how Shoseki estimates are inflated. Previous volume's 5 day estimate on Shoseki was like 3k higher than the 7 day sales we have this week.

They are already back on Shoseki in top 50.
Some of the reprints have hit.

Reminder that this is a 7-day week, so these are rather big numbers. Second week totals will probably be smaller than usual. I can really only say with certainty that Chainsaw mana nd Jujutsu kaisen have grown. Still, impressive debuts!

This is a fantastic week for everyone.

JJK 14 did amazing and so did CSM, no further argument needed here. But MHA had its best fw to date this week even accounting for days, BC tied its previous volume's 10 days, and so did Stone. Mashle grew a lot. Yozakura finally charted on Oricon, and this number pretty much confirms fw for volume 5 was inflated on shoseki estimations; but still good on it, a pretty good performance all in all.

Great stuff.

So damn happy for Mashle, it’s really unbelievable how good it’s doing, can’t wait to see how much of a boost it gets with an anime

Also good for Yozakura for finally ranking, it took a while but finally made it, it really managed to grew lil by lil

Can’t wait for the new series to come all look like they could bring something new

Beyond absurd, for literally almost everything. Jujutsu Kaisen 14 almost doubled Volume 13 sales in a month (650k vs 340k).

My Hero Academia 29 makes the biggest first week ever for the series and makes more copies than Volume 28 first two weeks.

Chainsaw Man almost doubles Volume 9 first week numbers (160k vs 305k).

Stone again with its biggest first week ever and doing same numbers Volume 18 had in its first 2 weeks.

Black Clover, even if not as crazy as the previous ones, also makes almost the same amount as Volume 26 in 2 weeks.

And finally MASHLE, with Volume 4 surpassing the estimated numbers for Volume 3 in its first 4 weeks (54k vs 50k in 4 weeks; 56k monthly for Volume 3).

Happy to see Yozakura finally in Oricon and keeping its growth albeit small. We Never Learn keeps doing the same copies it usually does.

There's tons of stuff that will depend on week 2, but for Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man or MASHLE, that's not going to be a bother at all. Insane growth.

^the majority of the rejected designs are shots of Luffy running, talk about an honest marketing lol

about the new round
I'm going to predict that WW is going to be a romcom similar to how Double Art and Pochi Kuro are romcom disguised as adventure/battle
Shinohara work have ton of melodrama anyway

I don't know what Inoaka new work is about but I'll guess it's will be incredibly boring, I read Invade You their 4 oneshots their 2 miniseries
and they were all boring too, not funny, not exciting, no stand out traits or memorable characters
even their twitter account is boring

about the baseball manga, the author won 2 writing awards, 1 from Jump and the other from Young Animal
and the artist is a vet from Gessan & Sunday
I wouldn't count out it just because "baseball is boring"
this is Japan, baseball rival football in popularity
