Mag Talk Weekly Shonen Jump [2021] - Discussion and ToC Talk

Tbh I feel like I need to actually read more of this magazine considering how much I enjoy talking about it as a whole. But half the lineup either just isn't my thing or are way too long to even attempt to get into with the amount of time I have. Not to mention I feel like a total outlier for not being into straight battle shonen that much all things considered. I hope at least a thing or two out of the new series coming this year grab my attention. That being said even my D tier isn't stuff I straight up hate considering I still read it every week, tbf I don't read enough to have a "truly disliked" tier. Though hot damn did Roboco start off REALLY weak, took a few later standout chapters to pick up at all.

The fact that I like a single series disproportionately more than the others is going to come back to bite me one day that I can only hope isn't too soon :V

The series itself might end up being bad, but Shiibashi on a monthly schedule will be a sight to behold.
He already had some of the best artwork in the magazine when working weekly, I´m looking forward to what he can create with more time in his hands.

Yep, called it weeks ago, Shiibashi is done with SJ, but i thought he would go to Plus, its even the same one shot, Ultra Jump is a big surprise.

Well, wish the best of luck to him in the new journey, definitely going to check the series, great artist that never fully got the deserved recognition on SJ.

Since there's usually a consensus every couple months on what everyone's views are on the currently running series, and we're about to get a new round of serialisations, it might be worth doing it again now that we're in 2021. I found an up-to-date tier list someone had made of all the current series (plus a few that just ended in the past few weeks). Instead of listing out as normal, how would you rank them on the tier list?

Mine is definitely more bottom heavy than I would have thought but for me anything C tier or above is at least something I typically enjoy week-to-week. If Burn the Witch were included I'd put it in S Tier just after One Piece.
