Do y’all think they may be hesitant on giving high promo to Phantom Seer due to the fact that we have 3 veterans returning(all of them have at least 2 hits under their belt as well, rather than just on success). And there’s still probably a desire to save a spot for a good Sports series.

idk, even if PS does have a decent 1st week sales, if all 3 veterans come out and do better than PS the axe may still be on the table(not that I necessarily believe this is gonna happen. Personally I’m predicting Build King gets the axe)

If they are waiting for Build King to get the axe, they'll be waiting till at least end of the year. We still don't have V1 sales yet. And assume V1 does 20k total, they'll wait for V2 to see if there is growth. Depending on that, they'll probably make the decision or give Shimabu another Volume or 2.

So if they wait for that to decide PS's fate, they'll be waiting a while.

It's really nothing new, some viz color pages has "leaked" before release for a long time.

So, I had my translator friend look at this interview. It seems it doesn’t mention CSM in the context that a few users here have stated.

Narrator: "Recently in Jump, you have the raw sexual vulgarity of *Chainsawman*, or a prostitute in *Tokyo Shinobi Squad* in one chapter saying "You can have sex on the cheap, honey...", I feel like that's pretty explicit for a magazine for boys."

Nakano: "Of course, sometimes in our meetings, someone will ask something like 'Don't you think this is a little too explicit?'. This even happens with the sorts of series you might see as more traditional Jump material. But we try to meet these things head on, and trust in our readers."

----It's true that the target audience is a little older than what you'd call children, and some of the manga might include terms that are a little above their level, but that way the audience can enjoy growing up a little.

That’s the only mention of CSM in the interview. However, in regards to ToC placements:
