Could it be (lead cp for DS) also a way to announce when season 3 is going to be aired? After all, it was announced months ago.

The cover of volume 22 is probably going to form a single picture with volume 23. Whoever reads the series knows why, since volume 22 ends with an important event in the story.

ToC lately been just a way for editors to say nothing besides CF is ending for a while, even TES isnt safe from being in the bottom sometimes, but this put a lot pressure on Red Hood and Neru, feels like any or both will just be straight up dead if starts in the bottom due to everything else being stable enough

Makes sense. It has to be a big series that gets the LCP for the group cover, MHA and OP just got one, and Akutami was clearly not in any shape to be getting extra work. It was Dr. Stone or Black Clover.

Aren't mashle, Uu, elusive and ao no hako already big series? In my opinion they should give more cover to the new series... and BTW yozakura is going for the 2nd anniversary this month, I thought they were going to give the cover to it, or expect to have it very soon

It depends what you compare them to. At the moment I would say OP, JJK, MH, DS and BC stand above the rest as established series in terms of sales and popularity in the magazine for a long period of time.

Wow a special Bleach chapter with 73 fucking pages! Thats crazy, and we're probably finally get new info about the new anime season and maybe even a date for BTW 2nd season

Amazing news about 73 more pages of Bleach, cannot wait to read that! Definitely not something I saw coming but this is a great 20th anniversary present. I'm not holding out for anime news until Jump Festa at the earliest but hey, if something comes sooner I will take it.

If Kubo decides to expand more on the ending, do a post-epilogue story, or even something entirely separate I'm sure every starved Bleach fan will absolutely be thrilled about this.

As for the TOC, pretty chaotic placements. Me Roboco's last four weeks being 13 > 5 > 9 > 5 is amusing. Mission: Yozakura Family has its lowest this year, The Elusive Samurai also not in a great spot despite its popularity. But really it all doesn't mean that much since only Candy Flurry is an absolute dud right now.

I wonder what'll happen in regards to a physical volume release for this new Bleach chapter, Kubo doesn't have any extra oneshots or anything to pad it with but 70 pages isn't nearly enough on its own.

Perhaps we'll get Burn with Witch part 2 soon and this will be included in v2 of that?

Actually I'm wondering now if this new chapter will perhaps connect Bleach to Burn the Witch more directly, that's definitely something I could picture Kubo doing.

Just have him write another one-shot next year or so. Or hell, invite some other writers to do their take on the series. I always like seeing different styles.

With the issue #36/37, Yozakura will be 5 cconsecutive issues without a new cp, the series started in the #39 of 2019 and the cp for the 1st anniversary was in the #39 of 2020, so probably safe to assume is going to get the cover + lead cp of #39 for the 2nd anniversary
