Nanatsu no Taizai was a lot of fun, from the first series I watched weekly from its inception, to Estarrosa's dilemma I enjoyed too much, one of the Magazine's 5 greatest hits alongside Fairy Tail, Gotoubun no Hanayome, Daiya no Ace and Shingeki no Kyojin.
As mentioned before, Shingeki is Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. But aside from that, the greatest hits from Weekly Shonen Magazine in terms of sales are:

Kindaichi Case Files (100 million copies)
Hajime no Ippo (96 million copies)
Fairy Tail (72 million copies)
Shoot! (60 million copies)
Devilman (50 million copies)/Great Teacher Onizuka (50 million copies)

And even then, you still have Tsurikichi Sanpei (40 million copies) before Daiya no Ace (36 million copies) and Seven Deadly Sins (33 million copies) follow. Gotoubun no Hanayome doesn't even come close to "greatest hits" category in terms of sales.

I feel like a better method of seeing how well these sold would be on a “per Volume” basis. Ultimately print numbers alone don’t really tell the entire story.

For Example:
Tsurikichi Senpei has 40 million copies in print over 65 volumes, or about 615k per Volume. Compare that with Kimetsu no Yaiba, which as of the beginning of the year, has the same amount in print over 19 volumes (though honestly it’s leaped way above that since then), or 2105k per Volume. Both have the same amount of copies in print, but Kimetsu is obviously the bigger hit, since it’s sold more per volume.

Has Hitman been doing better each volume?

Nope, its dropping actually. There is a reason why Seo did crossovers from Fuuka and Kimi no Iru Machi and why he added sex scenes as of recently.

So looks like Blue lock and soredemu Ayumo are the only growing new series?

I believe so, but there are still a pretty good number of new series that still haven't had their first volumes released yet. In addition, with the number of series either ending or transferring to Magazine Pocket, I'm guessing we'll be getting at least 4 more new series soon (to replace Nanatsu, Senryuu Shoujo, Necromance, and Reaper's Dice Game).

What type of series are you guys hoping for? I know there's a lot of romcoms currently running in WSM right now, but you can't deny that those are usually the genre that seems to stick with decent numbers here. With Nanatsu getting a sequel at some point that seems like it may run in WSM, I wonder if that's their way of not searching for another adventure series and just rolling with more Nanatsu and eventually pushing Edens Zero.

Shingeki is in Bessatsu tho
I should have put kodansha, that's why I put it with the magazine, although in this I should have added Space Brothers, Hoozuki no Reitetsu or the vacation of Jesus and Buddha

As mentioned before, Shingeki is Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. But aside from that, the greatest hits from Weekly Shonen Magazine in terms of sales are:

I should have put Kodansha that was my point, as you well show us, NnT is far from the best sellers in history, but I was referring to the last years, I apologize for not giving the idea of my comment well.

I added Gotoubun for being a bestselling RomCom, I think it's the second best-selling RomCom in the history of this magazine after Boys Be ... but yeah, thinking about it, it's not that great overall.

Soredemo Ayumu isn't growing either. If anything it's dropping in sales. Though it's hard to say with oricon numbers (because different amount of days) and shoseki can be misleading, I am pretty sure at best it's stable.

Aside from Blue Lock, you have Kanojo, Okarishimasu and Tokyo Revengers. Though neither of them can be considered as new series and Kanojo, Okarishimasu didn't really show any growth in the last year (didn't really drop either).

Kanojo Okarishimasu

Looking at mostly those numbers and considering shoseki, it is safe to say Tokyo Revengers continues its slow growth and Kanojo, Okarishimasu is stable in sales (for the last year). Though at this point, future of those series depends on adaptations and how much boost they're gonna get from it

I think it would be a good respite if they moved the Kawai Dake ja Nai Onnanoko San manga from Magazine Pocket to the main magazine, that manga is having a very important growth.

Love Hina should also still be ahead. And probably something else I'm forgetting xD

The first thing that comes to mind for a new series would be something, for a lack of a better term, that feels fresh. Like with Runway which feels like something you wouldnt find on a shonen magazine, or even like Blue Lock, having a new spin on the sports genre.

I call it reverse salesology. Boruto started in WSJ hoping the exposure will help it get to naruto like levels, only for it to tank in sales by more than 50% within 4-5 vols and then get booted from the mag. By seeing a potent seller in an exclusive web app series it's possible it could be more potent in a more exposed mag, that's the logic. But those people know how to read trends better than us, they knew gotobun was gonna be a hit which is why they gave it an anime in less than a year for serialization

truthfully it's whatever. they should start adapting their web manga series tho. i've seen plently of jump+ series animated already

I think they are the same or Gotoubun wins by little, with the last volume if it will be consolidated with second place xD

According to Wikipedia, Love Hina has 16 million copies in print. How much is the latest number for Gotoubun?

No one posted this I believe and it's a month old but Orient got 2 reprints last month alone

The bottom placements got me worried for Orient. Is it something to worry about or are there still titles that are doing worse than Orient? I dont follow this magazine as much as I want to so I would like to know more. I would imagine with NNT ending will be more beneficial for series that aren't performing as well
