At least it has a little protection: Asklepios is dead, Neuro could go anytime (long run, low rankings), and at least one of the new series will be cut. While I look forward to both sports series I'd be willing to bet both end quickly.

Re: Weekly Shounen Jump 2009 - Discussion & TOC Talk

Looks like the announcement for To-Love is a special OVA to be released with vol. 13, just like Negima & Zetsubou. Interesting how that's going to happen...but at least in OVA form they can get away with more ecchiness per minute.

As for the rankings...not much really to say: usual suspects below and HxH leaves again.

lol, an OAD like Zetsubou and Negima? I don't know if I should buy the tank with or without the DVD now... ;)

Oh well, I still have a long time to think about it... :D

Awww@Neuro and Psyren coming down... and ToLoveRU is still not out of the woods either...

Neuro should just come to an 'normal' end slowly. Although I do enjoy this series, I wouldn't mind coming to a conclusion now >.>

I don't know if I would want to see it ending or not... I mean it's a bit like HxH, with so many loose ends unanswered that wraping it up with the current arc would be rather unfortunate. The pain from Muhyo's ending is still rather fresh on my mind (lol).

Of course, the Matsui already tied up two of them (the death of Setsuna and Eishi's family), but we still have the death of Akane remained unsolved :p

Head back to My Star... I find it pretty light and fun to read, even more so than P2 when it started. The only little thing that's bugging me is that... Raiho kept reminding me of Hiruma for some unknown reason...

and my anticipation has only grown with the raw and translation out. this could become a solid favourite if it doesn't fuck up.

Yesh, but in the series thread, please -> http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44393

It's confusing to cluster all the manga talk over the half board. Surely, some series-related comments can't be avoided but please try to keep this thread for WSJ general discussions and the series discussions into the respective threads >.>

I've avoided reading the script (I hate spoilers) but the raws have my interest way up. I was already interested, now I'm quite excited.

Well, technically, Meister is WSJ so it's still on topic. =P

Re: Weekly Shounen Jump 2009 - Discussion & TOC Talk

Yes, as long as you discuss the WSJ stats and relations to other series but when you start discussing the content you better do that in the series thread. Not everyone who follows the series follows the magazine threads (our manga database links to the series thread) which aren't meant for series content discussion to begin with.

Re: Weekly Shounen Jump 2009 - Discussion & TOC Talk

The Gintama cover looks creepy! (then again that is the boss of the Yoshiwara arc...and a lot of Yato are that powerful) Sort of expected someone else for the Bleach cover though but Shinji rerun isn't too bad...though my only other complaint is that Takei is starting to really rerun characters again with the "upgraded" forms of the leads.

BTW: They're doing another project for '09's spines...think "Viva Rock" if you haven't seen it yet.

Not a huge fan of the Bleach cover. A little disappointing. Otherwise I love everything, especially Double Arts.

Wow, nice covers, D.Gray-Man's Cover is the best imo... Hoshino's choice of Colors was perfect.

Hm, yeah. I don't like the covers for Neuro and Gintama. But love the ones for DGM and DArts. The rest is average.
