Kuroko wasn't that bad lately... i thought the beginning chapters were worse. but i don't really care much of it anyway.
Akaboshi is down for sure (can't help that), and i hope along with Wajimania, it becomes a nice cushion for Medaka Box to survive on.

Reborn's future arc got better when the Melone Base attack ended. Before and after that attack is just fine imo.

Why is getting the cover a big deal? It's nice but I don't think it's that important.

Because Naruto has already gotten several ones this year and this was suppose to be Bakuman's one year anniversary.

It isn't like Naruto needed to steal the cover from it. Especially when its own real anniversary is right around the corner anyway.

Plus, covers help to promote a series. Which is why when new series start they get both the cover and color pages.

lol at One Piece re-entering the chart. That makes me happy. Good to see Nura continuing to sell well. It's the only reason why it's ToC ranking rarely matters to me.

Also, I don't understand all the Kuroko hate. Was it better than HoopMen? No, but it's still decent and better than some of the other stuff in the magazine. I would rather there be an average sports manga in the magazine, then another generic action series. Now if only we could get a translator for it .

I agree with you. I like Kuroko very much, except the rocket pace. It is pretty good series, I don't know why other people hate it.

Also, Jump already has about 9 or 10 battle series that are actually doing great, 1 battle series is bombing (Akaboshi), and another 1 battle series is still unknown (Kagijin). I rather Jump serialized diifferent kinds of genre rather than action, like mystery or sport.

this cover must be for bakuman (this month it's exactly one year pass after his first serialisation), but I'm surprised it's for naruto???
i will it's be enough and it was the last time we see naruto in cover before november (the real date for his anniversary)

I care more about color pages then number of covers.

Plus, covers help to promote a series. Which is why when new series start they get both the cover and color pages.

While getting the cover does make a series more visible, they're meant to sell more magazines. In theory more people will pick up a magazine with Naruto on the cover then, say, Ane Doki.

I'm used to this by now. Except their Toriko fetish, they haven't let an anniversary-celebrating new-ish series have a cover for a couple years now.

Did Reborn get the cover for it's anniversary? I remember Gintama did. Anything from 2006 to the present certainly doesn't. But, as long as they get color pages, I'm happy. They should stop putting manga on the cover; Magazine has the right idea putting models on every week.

even though i hate naruto alot, i can't help but admit that this cover looks really cool....
its one of the best WSJ covers i've seen..
of course, i would rather not see Naruto on front page.

I'm not against naruto to get the cover, but bakuman it's the 6th series best sell in WSJ (i dont considering HxH and D gray man)
naruto can get cover next week or after, and in number 37-38 of WSJ ; they promised a cover for bakuman :

Sometimes I see the mangaka writing it in the last page of the previous week's chapter, other than that I'm not sure.
